- After adding the tires and brake pads resulted in a kind of disappointing time at ACS, I wasn't thinking the car would be very quick at Buttonwillow yet.
Spoiler alert: It's not sub 2 yet. But, it's closer than I expected!

It's a great car for the money. I enjoy going fast around turns in something that isn't "supposed" to. Stick axles are neat.

Jeez, what is it with us and axle seals?
@@NikRomanoRacing we took it apart yesterday. It is a brand new full floater axle in the car. It appears by the witness marks, that the seal seat was not round. It had points where it did not seat. We will clean it up and hopefully keep the oil where it belongs!

I got the same wheels on a 2007 gt500 front 18x10 40mm did you run a wheel spacer to clear the strut mine don’t clear the strut, if so what mm is your wheel spacer amd what brand
I did use a spacer, can't remember if it's 3 or 5mm. Definitely wouldn't have cleared without it. Apex makes spacers as well as wheels, I'd recommend going with those!

Did the leak out the back end up being an axle seal?
Thank you! Yes, it turned out that both rear axle seals had gone bad. The RR was much worse, but they both needed to be changed.
I went ahead and installed the Truetrac diff and new bearings too, but...it seems that the new axle bearings are bad, or the wrong ones, or something...because it immediately had play in it after install. Will have to revisit soon.
You'll never be faster than a Civic with Mishimoto ZX tires.
That's just a fact of life.
