@@whtshark691 have you ever change the cats before? From factory, I believe the passenger side comes with a bracket and once you replace it usually with the aftermarket part, it doesn’t come with that bracket so something just to look out for it could be causing rattle.
@@BruceMobile It's all factory right now. Everything seems tight.I recently was running hot and my water pump was bad. I've read if it runs hot it can damage the cat.So, I'm thinking this is what it is since i can't find anything to tighten up.

True statement JD! Some designs can be overly complicated. I believe it’s intentional. This video is a good illustration. This Jeep would run even better without these catalytic converters.

Nice video man. Thanks for keeping the info straight to the point. I’m gonna be tackling mine this weekend.
@@BackUpTerry931 yes! Straight to the point minus all the extra hooblaa 🗣️
@@BruceMobile working through this job right now. Need to stop and like the video. You are making my day go 100% better
@ that great news. Glad to be of assistance. 🙌🏾
Thanks. I couldn't find a video for the JL but, I think this is very similar. I have a bad rattle I can't find and I think it's a bad cat on my 2018.

Good job. Did that clear the code?
@@ShoNuffDC sure did 💯
Hello love the video I have the same code and I’ve already replaced the cat and the 02 sensors not sure what to do anymore on my Jeep any ideas ?
@@richardmartinez7523 where did you get your new cats?
@@BruceMobile eBay I believe
@@richardmartinez7523 that maybe your issue. You can’t cheap out on catalytic converters. They require precious metals to work properly.
@@BruceMobile is A-premium a good site to order the part ?
@ they sell one of lower quality cats from my research. I recommend getting them from www.extremeterrain.com
Thanks god bless you
Peace and love ✊🏾 Thank you for your blessings 🙏🏾
Thank you for this video. I ordered the same part. Did you have to put a new bracket on it or does it hold well on its own?
No problem. Thanks for watching. It’s fine without the bracket.
Good work, stay blessed.

3:42-3:55 What is that bracket for? Does anyone know?
@@cuddlybear4524 support for the catalytic converter but it doesn’t seem to be necessary. Most replacement cats don’t have the hanger attached.

Yooo doing mine rn which way does the new gasket go?
I would've been good to here vehicle sound with the bad converter in place and to know what the symptoms were.

This one you put on was from A1 auto did it clear the code

How long will it probably last a couple years you think
@ I would imagine at least but not sure. There aren’t many reviews on the part yet.
Ok ya my code was coming back every 500 miles or so hopefully it's the cat but I will change both 02 sensors as well thanks
Also I have no drivability issues still mpg
cat #1, how long did it last and how many miles? ...the video shows cat#2?
This Jeep had right around 130k miles when I replaced the cat. Bank 1 is the passenger side bank 2 is the driver side.
