Hope you enjoy! Sorry for the low energy & vibe! I had a bad headache all day.... But hey!! DECALS ARE BACK IN STOCK!!! Already selling fast! Everybody wants to be part of #TeamLNP!!! www.spreesy.com/loudnproud Decals from coast to coast on rigs already!!! All over the world! Thanks Fam!
There is couple stuff you left off while explaining. Also, once you got the valve train all tighten up, you need or someone who has experience need to do a valve lash adjustment. to make sure those valves are set at the correct dimension. lastly, if you ever do any engine work in the future. it is always a good habit to keep your parts organize and in sequence. even if its those spring keepers.
That Powerstroke Bloke I hear you. I love 5.9 in general. I have a 99 7.3. I like 7.3. But unfortunately I'm not having much luck with it. Nothing but problems. New rearend, ball joints, injectors bypassing/burning oil. Transmission whining on over drive. Glow plugs. Twin I beam bushing, the list goes on and on. Hopefully my luck will change. If not imma have to let her go. Bone stock btw
Definitely my favorite videos when you break down and go through the under-hood and/or mechanical projects. I just bought my first diesel truck (First Gen Cummins) last year and am learning things as I go too. Keep up the hard work and the great content!
Prob one of best videos so far good job , and yes definitely make sure push rods are seated correctly like you said , what you are feeling is like a suction from oil on the tappet mating to push rod , if not seated you will bend them , also I back off adjusters some for valves when putting back on until valve lash is done and can do it with out the air tool if you put cylinder at top dead center then piston holds valves from falling in cylinders , when taking out injectors I use a bore brush and break clean and air to get holes surgical clean , when reusing washers you can re-anneal them by heating them red hot and then dropping in water , softens copper back up and makes easier to crush seal again . And again love that flat bed man been tossing around idea of one for my self think you’ve made up my mind . 👍🏼
When metal gets warm it expands thats why you only hand tighten the studs going back with the Allen wrench is not recommended. Head studs apply more pressure on your gasket you need too lash them valves
Yo Malachi I would turn the valve springs from the nasty red into key chains and give them away. Like if you guys want this to happen. I think I should get one since it was my idea.
Don't go to heavy of a valve spring it'll mess up your tappets (lifters). If you go with a heavy valve spring get an after market tappet. They're expensive but it's worth it.
Connor Milroy ahh pull a injector, turn engine over until TDC on which ever cylinder your working on and use the piston to hold the valves up... also helps cause you can just set the valve lash on your rockers as you go
Also don’t need to pull injector and can just look at your valve overlap for each cylinder. When both exhaust and intake are loose your close to a tdc combustion stroke. Both tight and your on exhaust scavenging cycle. Look at your running mates
Do you know how to weld bro ? It would be cool to build some bumpers or do your exhaust work. I'm sure you could learn man you seem to have a good skill set and understating of how shit works, also could save you some cash in the long run. Just wondering either way awesome vid.
rod farva funny you mention... ordered a basic welder and accessories 2 days ago lol.... you’ll see it on here soon I’m sure! 😂🤦🏼♂️ I’m no welder though lol...
LOUD 'N' PROUD that's so badass. No worries man mig is a piece of cake once you get the hang of it. Plenty of awesome people willing to help out just let us know!
24vs are decent VP44 shits the bed if you dont keep the fuel pressure at the right pressure. 53 blocks like to crack so stay away from those blocks. they usually crack before 200,000 miles.
Another amazing video as always man! Awesome seeing everything coming together and all the goodies under the hood! Keep up the great work and videos as always man! #TEAMLOUDNPROUD

Thanks Fam!
Ricardo Gochez yeah adds at least 200 hp .... Lol !!!
I really hope you do a valve set after you get everything swapped over.....
thats why you keep the air hooked up with constant pressure... then you're good!
LOUD 'N' PROUD might sound strange but idk much about diesels tbh. Whats like, the purpose of changing head studs though
LOUD 'N' PROUD could you say my channel in next vid its exes07vlogs thanks and your the best

12 valve simplicity ... Nothing like a 12v... Keep up the fantastic work man your work is an inspiration !!
That Powerstroke Bloke very true
HolyGrail 95 I like the 12v(likely the most reliable diesel) but look at my username my loyalty lies elsewhere ... Lol !!!

Glad to see someone my age doing well and fixing his own things
Make sure you back it down to zero on your torch wrench at night or when not in use 👍
33snook and not to use it has a ratchet, just a torque wrench. Just what I have herd in the past

When are you going to do more with the dully
Soon!
Do you have the snap on part number for the air tool used for holding valves
M3584
12v Cummins thanks!!!My snap on rep. Doesnt know crap about diesel stuff when I order tools
link in description!
Is 125 final torque
Do you know an actual name for that dummy injector to keep pressure in the cylinder it doesn't need to be the specific snap on one
