This song was my first introduction to Home Free--and they've been my favorite musicians ever since! Love it when these guys voice the bell tones🔔 Besides the unbelievable harmonies--and gorgeous church backdrop--getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree #HomeFreeDoesChristmasBest #AdamRuppSinging
Great reaction, emotional and informative. Filmed in Notre Dame Basilica in Mankato, Mn. I've heard this song more times than I can count but never shed a tear or felt chills until this rendition by Home Free. So many of their songs send me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. Happy Holidays and blessings to you and all you love. Thank you.
The best rendition of this song I've ever heard. I think they shot this with a drone. Listen to their comments at the end. They tell you where they are. It's your channel. Don't apologize for what you like.
Thank you for a wonderful reaction dont worry about geeking out most of us love that because it shows that you really appreciate their work and that you are not a fake only looking to get subs as some reactors much love and respect from Denmark 🥰🥰
I loved that you geeked out about the video. I learned something new and paid attention to part of the video I never thought about before. I appreciate that.
One of my favorites. Home Free is so good and those harmonies are exquisite. Loved Austin and Tim’s solos and the bell tones. The church was amazing too. Yes goosebumps for sure! Have a wonderful Christmas!🥰😄
Group founder Chris Rupp, who left the group in 2016, was singing baritone. The video was shot in a Catholic chapel, and Rupp got serious grief for "wearing a hat in church"" even though there wasn't a worship service in progress.
@@momD612Leaving his hat on was an unnecessary provocation, but I think it is much ado about nothing. I lead worship every week, and the gentlemen don't have to bare their heads until the service starts.
@@roberthudson1959Removing ones hat when indoors anywhere has ALWAYS been a common courtesy and respectful up until recent years. Today's society has lost most of it's manners.
I have been your sub for awhile now. I enjoy your comments on the videos, very informative. I love Home Free and everything they sing is amazingly well done. This song was arranged by Tim when he was still in high school. Great job well done and deserved by HF and you. Bless you and have a awesome Christmas. 🎼♥️🎶🦋🎵🌲☃️❄️
This is so gorgeous. Love those bell tones. The backing vocals. The waterfall "fall". And, of course, the amazing lead vocals. Although the acoustics in that church are probably great, we are almost certainly hearing the studio recording. Too difficult to control background noises otherwise.
@@gawgia3 I think there's a video on Chris Rupp's YT channel in which he talks about making this video. I know there's one about Angels We Have Heard on High, which they did in the same session. Interesting stuff. I'd love to be "on set" for one of their videos.
This video was shot a Sisters Of Norte Dame in Mankato Minnesota. Where brothers Adam ( beatboxer) & Chris ( cowboy hat) founders of the group are from. I think this is the most best version of this song . I think you would really like their version of Do You Hear What I Hear. I really disliked that song till I heard their version
I am always interested to hear what videographers have to say about HF's videos. Many, if not most, of their early ones were done by FifGen - which was The Hound & The Fox and Jimmy Bates. When H&F decided to concentrate on their music instead, Jimmy took the reins and is still one of HF's main camera guys. Unfortunately, the description doesn't credit who did this one, so I can't say that is WAS FifGen, but it certainly looks like Jimmy's camera work.
Very cool! Thank you for sharing the info. Their videos are really fun to break down what’s going on, it’s part of why I enjoy these reactions so much!
2016 and before = Chris Rupp 2016 and after = "Chance" Post Pandemic = Tim with shorter and graying hair (although he has been letting it get a little longer again).

They filmed again in the same church, & he took his hat off & hung it on the front door before walking in. What respect for THOSE fries.... 😉🥰🥰

NICE ALL THE WAY! These guys just can't go wrong. So beautiful scene and amazing voices !
Absolutely!
Beautiful Christmas hymn performed by five excellent vocalists in a lovely setting!
Magical. The boys sound like angels!! Tim's arrangement of this beautiful song at the age of 19 is incredable!! Austin!! Nobody like him

During the outro, they tell you where this was filmed. It's in Mankato, MN, I believe. Thanks for the HF reaction.
Thank you!
I love this version of this song. “Him’s” got a name and it is Austin.
Austin’s voice is the most beautiful voice ever in my opinion.
Yep, I have committed it to Memory now thanks to everyone in the comments for helping me out!
Great reaction!!
Thank you!!
I heard that Tim made this arrangement when he was still a teenager, but I cannot remember who said it. So don't take my word for it.
That was Georgia boy Austin letting rip on those high, high notes. 🏴
Austin! Got it, thank ya! Those highs are incredible

Awesome reaction ‼️ If you haven't heard Austin sing " Georgia " you need to check it out ‼️ new subscriber here 😀
If you wanted to know where it was filmed you should have let it play out a little longer. good reaction, I had the same outcome.
I’ll keep it in mind! Thank you for watching, beautiful building!
