- This is a short video about using trunking end caps to make life simpler in limited room situations.
If the electrical firm hasnt already installed trunking around the DBs already you can ask them to install removable ends caps.
If they do this they will help you gland the cables in tighter spaces. Its also another option even if the room is ample.
I like the end cap option coz it feels like im cheating a little bit👍🏻👍🏻

I once had to bring a 5c95 down one side of a wall and into a db on the other side of the same double brick wall. Took about 5 bricks out, ran the scissor lift into it to flatten it against the wall, then banded it to the wall below the db. That was a rough job... 🤣
Yikes... That cable at the end there looked like a right nightmare! Be interesting to see how you did it in the end, very tight
Blimey Tony you Don't half get them 😮
Would be interesting to see how you get over the last problem.
To Be Continued ....
You are a very skilled man and excellent at your job it's a shame that all this work will go in and you do a brilliant job yet hardly anyone will ever notice Still at least you know it's done right and it's done professionally also whenever I have used armoured glands those shrouds always seem a really hard plastic and very poor quality
Thats very kind of you to say. Like you said, at least i will know it's done right.
BANG RIGHT MATE. @@jointechcabling9103
Could you not have extended the trunking slightly longer to take you below the ladder rack and then gland straight into trunking ??
Im not in charge of that unfortunately. The sparks put the containment in. Im just here for the cables
Spark here. Would you be insulted if we considered you hon. Spark? Some of us are ok you know Tony.
Adjustable inspection mirror..... really handy
Noticed the test points on the board. That’s impressive
They're a new thing from schnieder. Nice to see a bit of thought and design going into things.
@@jointechcabling9103 yes mate. Much safer than removing board cover. I think Paul from E5 mentioned something about them. Nice to see them out in the wild 🤪
What’s the lifting capacity of the little chain ratchet winch?
3T
500kg. Its more than enough for what i need.
@@jointechcabling9103 What make is it? 👍
