Allen, every year so far in my 3 year old grass, this time a year in Houston Texas my saint Augustine will get these huge dead circles.. I don’t know why. Like 10ft rings. I thought it was too much water from all the rain mixed with cooler nights? I don’t know what to do? I sprayed a fungicide, but I think it was too late?

Do I cross pattern with a spreader? I used some Expert Gardner 10-10-10 this weekend (40lb bag) I have a 7000 sqft lawn give or take with the 3 areas front left 1000 sqft, front right 2000 sqft, back yard 4000 sqft. I put down at 5lbs on my Scotts spreader for 0.5lbs of Nitrogen which should have taken around 35 lbs of product for my lawn size. I probably had a little under half the bag left after making my passes about 4 feet apart and also doing perimeter lap first. Am I not walking fast enough? Does the spreader suck? it seemed like the size of the fert might have been to big to go through the opening easy? I was afraid to go over it again.
Maybe some glow in the dark grass paint next time...domination in the dark...lol PS- interested to hear about new sod care when you get it down. Half my pallet died after patching my lawn. Figured it cooked on the pallet middle of summer before I got it and just got lucky on the half that lived.
It stormed here in east Texas so I’m stuck with about 10 lbs of candy. Local company will send it to the troops for you so that’ll be a good use for it so I don’t eat it all.

Allen for your mosquito problem try spartan mosquito eradicator they sell the at ace hardware stores I use them no more mosquitoes. Dominate those mosquitoes LCN
Had a 100 plus kids maybe 150 with the parents this year for Halloween... 2 kids were saying how much they love my property... moved in October 30 last year... Had only 45 kidd then for Halloween

You should wear long pants when edging. It helps prevents cuts if you lose control.
Sure does remind me of home. Although the only grass I have is my green outdoor carpet and it looks perfectly manicured year round.
