I work in a rather harsh environment for a beard I think, a steel mill. Dirt and dust floating through air, extreme heat multiple times a day. I find myself washing my beard and conditioning almost everyday to make sure it's clean of dirt, I use the beard butter evert night and balm in the mornings before heading to work. My beard is a little more than 8 inches at it longest point. I think each person must adapt for their daily surroundings. I subscribe to your channel and follow your tips because I wanted my beard to be as full as yours is and I have to say it's close lol. Thankyou for the tips and guidance through my bearded life.
Sodium (sweat) is more damaging to your beard than washing when i was washing 2x a week i was getting a lot of acne in my beard and the soul patch now i wash everyother day sometimes everyday and my beard feels nicer and looks better
Excellent advice. My beard didn't look good until I traded beard shampoo for cold water. Never use the shampoo but my beard is thick but short and water and a little blow drying for shape works wonders.
I do wash my beard every day...with a beard wash designed for daily beard washing. I rinse it again every evening. It does not dry out the skin underneath or the beard. This is why we nourish our beards...twice a day as a minimum...with beard oil/serum, beard balm/wax. After the initial three months grow out...yes, see a good barber once a month.
