What's your riding gear (brand)? Interested to know considering you said it was torrential rain but didn't need wet weather pants. From that, I assume Goretex but then you needed a wet weather jacket..........
I have a side bag that is attached to the crash bars that has all that in it. Probably because it stays on the bike, I didn't think to include it. Bugger.

DriRider Vortex Adventure, it's about 6 years old now but I did coat it in waterproofing. amzn.to/3V3TJF9
Majority of rain and wind will hit the upper body due to the ergonomics of the motorcycle. Often I’ll just use my rain jacket and not the pants 👍🏼
What about tubes and tire levers
I was thinking the same thing. Tools, tubes, air compressor, zip ties, etc
