    In the first video, I will show you how we build a mobile chicken coop from the ground up. We will start by building the frame of the coop including the indoor coop, chicken run, ladder, and laying box. Then we will paint the coop with some great ASMR clips using a spray painter. Lastly, we will add the finishing touches of the wire, waterer, and feeder. This is the perfect tutorial/how to video to watch before you start your coop creation! We plan to house our small backyard flock of 4 chickens in this mobile chicken coop. This coop allows for you to have chickens while allowing other animals to run around in the yard, like our sweet Nala dog. There are lots of tips and tricks in this video that you do not want to miss so make sure you watch till the end, thanks for hanging out!
    In this second video with the chicken coop updates, I show you the new way that I am holding up the chicken waterer and feeder, the new grit bucket, and the two natural roosts. The chickens are loving their coop and the new grass that they get everyday!

    How often do you move the coop around? Also, do you by chance have building instructions written out? Thanks so much for this, I'm so psyched to build one!

    What powers the door, is it solar or batteries and if so, about how long do batteries last?

    Wow I like the new upgrades! The door is really cool. Is it hard to push the coop around with all of the added weight of the natural roosts?

      My husband says so but I don’t think it is so bad

    I watched the original video and read all the comments. Was a little horrified by how rudely people called out your perceived mistakes. The real story here for s how much you got right and the simple inexpensive solutions you came up with. The only thing that stood out to me is that you didn’t seal the inside but I felt maybe you had a reason for it. Thanks for this update. I plan on building this.

    How much does it weigh? Is it easy for one person to move?

    Did you end up giving out the plans for building this coop?

    Hi Libby, two quick questions, since your laddies have been old enough to lay have any of them gone broody? Also do you trim their claws or do you let them do it naturally?

    • @LibbyFlanagan
      @LibbyFlanagan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not had any of them get broody, I try and pull the eggs as early as possible and I think that helps. They get filled down naturally because they do a lot of scratching but some of them are getting a bit long I should look into that

    Do they lay eggs ?

    No no the roost is too thin and too smooth that's why they use the natural roost
