I was reading the comments thinking "what are they talking about," but when I got farther in it was incredible, your attention to detail and commitment to doing the better thing (even though it is harder) is amazing. Great job man.
That was fun to watch. That is the Taj Mahal of chicken coops, if I've ever seen one. I did notice that after you started wearing your new boots, you seemed to have picked up speed.
It’s an amazing build. Unfortunately it’s over built and will likely need relocated for one reason or another in the next few years. The ground will become extremely toxic from their poop in a few years. Chickens aren’t meant to be cooped in one location. Hope that thing is moveable but it doesn’t look like it. Unfortunately not so genius, overbuilding is a bit stupid too.
Bravo ! What an excellent work ! One thing I could say is "Forget about the idea collecting water from the roof. Such water is the worst one can give to one's chichens. Getting such water is calling for trouble, I mean getting sick chickens"
For a moment there I thought I was watching an old fashion Western Movie. You had to shoot that nail gun about a thousand times all without reloading once. Nice build and enjoyable video.
This is a brilliant project bud, My wife and I are going to try to build one ourselves so we can grow some chicken out on the land. Thanks for taking the time to put this together, the finished product is just awesome. Love the water and food ideas, I was looking for a nice way to do that and you nailed it. Cheers man!
So I couldn't find anywhere that offered plans for this coop. I did manage to build my own based on what I thought you did. I must've watched these videos a hundred times!! I even learned how to make half-lap cuts! Ours looks absolutely amazing and I'm super happy I was able to mimic your work and make it my own. I wish I could share a pic on this format to honor your work
Lovely build! Thank you for such great details and thoughtful steps to your end project. That said -- if you are not planning to brood hens for chicks, roosters are not necessary for egg production -- you probably already know this; I'm simply putting it for the rest of folks reading the comments section. Additionally, in order to prevent the hens from suffering the effects of over-mating, keep one rooster for every ten hens at minimum. Again, thank you for posting a great video!

Absolutely beautiful coop, though one thing I would adjust is giving the chooks a wider flatter roost, having a round one that’s thinner can cause unnecessary pressure on their feet and when it’s cold it’s harder for them to cover their toes with their feathers. A 2x4 with the 4in side up is usually what’s recommended.
Looks more similar to human's house with accurate deeds. Net and clean. I really need one like for my chickens. Thanks for making this job available for watching every detail. Good job.
