Absolutely awesome smallmouth bass you are catching!!! Wow!! I fish the upper Guy above Mullins a lot. I catch a SM every once and awhile when using streamers while wild trout fishing. Do you ever catch any wild rainbows on the lower sections? Thanks!!
Hey Frank, those smallmouth are hefty fish, they are spawning at this time of the year. That big one probably had some 20 to 30 thousand eggs. Go fish.

Nikko is the only hellgrammite you will ever need. Don't waste money on cheap imitations. There is nothing like a Nikko.
I have smaller Blue Rock hellgrammite on Ned rig, no luck. But the Blue Rock swim jigs work

What hook size and wait do you use with thes?
Anywhere between 1/8 and 1/16 ounce. just an offset hook, Texas rigged or you could Ned rig them either way.
What setup do you use with that big hellgrammite?
Weighted offset hook I was using 1/8 ounce Texas rigging it
