Additional lane work at the Middle St. merge to help improve traffic

The Hawaii Department of Transportation is looking to provide relief to drivers by adding a lane at the Middle Street merge, a known bottleneck for commuters.

Let’s widen the entrance to the bottle neck but keep the choke point at the same size so more can converge on the same location simultaneously 👍🏽

Widening the car gutter is a terrible use of money! Induced demand and pollution! Invest in bike and transit instead.
