My little boy was an Australian terrier and jack russel mix. He was an amazing dog so friendly and gentle and great for barking at strangers. He protected us for 18 years and 4 months. I miss you everyday my oldest friend Rest In Peace in the green fields of heaven
They Love their play time and they love to chill with their favorite people .My Toadie lived to be 20 years old .They are little dogs with very big attitudes .When training them give them time and patience. Praise them when they have done what you want NEVER scold them .
My Australian terrier is named Little Joe. The breeder was a fan of westerns. His father was Doc Holiday and mother was Miss Kitty. Our house would not be the same without him !!
Let me tell you. When i come out of my room it comes sprinting FULL SPEED to me. I can barely keep up even if im running. If we give it a chew toy its gonna fricking tear that thing. It shakes it violently and bites so hard you can hear the squeak all over the house! If its tired, then it rushes to my legs and starts laying there.
I love my Australian terrier. I had a Yorkshire terrier for 16 wonderful years. When he passed i was so depressed. I literally cried every day for months. My husband was worried. He mentioned maybe we should look for another to take care off. No, i didn't take it as him being insensitive it being only 3 much of sadness and hopeless after my vinny's passing. We tried adopting and filling out all the forms adoption fees and willing to travel and let me just say its not all that. To get denied was frustrating and cruel. I know you my ask how hard is it, well you have to remember I hadn't had to do that since I had mine for16 years and I bought him from an ad in the newspaper. Its just what we did back then. Anyway, found one on a Facebook site group and he was advised as a yorkie and the lady said he wasn't a small one but I didn't care how big it would be I saw his picture and had to get him. He, is twice the size as my Yorkshire (7 pounds) and it was just when he was growing bigger and looking a little different is when I did more research and discovered he was a silky. I have to say this little fellow has brought my family so much love and happiness.
Had a Aussie Just passed at 5 years old. By far was the best dog I ever had growing up and later on in life. Just have a bit of stubbornness and times a mind of his own. What a lovable dog! Reading up on the breed it seems most don't live a full life as they seem prone to cancers. :(
I have a male 10 yrs old, Mikki. Active, strong physically and mentally (for his size), STUBBORN, tenacious, hates pest, love to be in family(not a lap dog), gloton, happy, loves people and love others dogs but hates cats, great "prey drive", great "guard" dog, smart, independent, intrepid and inventive, affectionate. Something important to me when I did my research, they don't shed(I mean, almost anything)! He think that he's a big dog!😄 He is pure terrier.
😂 my fur baby is definitely bossy & a little digger, but he learns fast. I've taught him to "kiss", "hug", "sit", "fetch", "play", "go outside", & uniquely "Leave Yagi" (his feline big brother). A bored Aussie terrier WILL wreak havoc by chewing everything lol
My favorite dog breed is the Australian terrier. Best dog ever. Had one who was attacked by a pit bull once. The pit bull had to have stitches. Same dog was kicked in the face by a guy when she was a puppy. The dog got him back by pooping on his business welcome mat. He came out to kick her again and stepped on her poop. RIP Alara
My Aussie had a Rex rabbit as his mate. They ate their dinner together and our back yard was completely turned into burrows. They took turns. Used to lose both of them down the rabbits hole.... literally.
I'm a proud happy owner of the Australian terrier he is so sweet and we'll manners potty trained and love rides to sticking his nose 🐽 out of the window... I have found this dog near me errand and lost I rescued him and this is the best thing ever
I had my first Aussie Terrier when I was 15 and fell in love the breed. I've had two more since then. I can't imagine my life without an Aussie!
What were their names? 🥰🥺. I adopted mine.

Amen to that! Our home without Peanut would definitely leave a hole in our lives.
How fun-loving, upbeat, and playful is your Aussie Terrier?

The Aussie is the most charismatic and fun breed I have ever owned. They are so full of personality and are loyal to the end.
Great dog breed, with an interesting history, hope they become more popular.

great show! brush teeth every day??? Not going to happen, still has great teeth
Yeah, mine just eats the brush and can’t ever finish. Thankfully he still has great teeth.
So so so cute tell me more
You should adopt a dog like this breed they're amazing
My aussie is so lazy i love it
I found mine lost in the streets and after my friends and family net him they were asking me to give him away they fell in love with my brownie...
Aussies are NEVER all black.
This is rubbish - surely you'd show more clips of actual ausie terriers. They have so much personality which doesnt come across here at all
