    Items needed:
    Crocheted dish cloth - Link to my video: • How to Make a Crochete...
    Cotton yarn of similar weight for edging
    Crochet hook - size H/8/5.00 mm or size needed for your yarn
    Darning needle
    Scissors
    Orient your dish cloth so that the selvedges are on the sides and the previous crocheted rows are horizontal. Starting at the top right corner, attach your yarn and stitch 2 single crochet stitches in the first stitch. Skip the next stitch. Stitch 2 single crochet stitches in the next stitch. Continue in this manner. When you reach the corner, stitch 3 single crochets in the corner stitch. This will help the yarn turn the corner well. Continue crocheting down the selvedge edge placing 2 single crochet stitches in each large hole. (In the video I explain this in more detail.) Continue in this manner until you return to where you began. Place one more single crochet in the first corner so that that corner now has 3 single crochet stitches just like the other three corners. Slip stitch in the next stitch to complete the row. Cut your yarn and weave in the ends.
    Thank you all for your love and support!!! I have really enjoyed each and every comment you have shared with me!!! I hope to share more videos soon!!!

    This is an incredible tutorial! Thank you so much. I am 65 years young but I have a lot of health issues. One of the biggest is MS. I use to crochet when I was in my early 20s and while I was pregnant but life took me in a different direction. I reaeally love these dish clothes. I received a few over the years as gifts and was thrilled. Thanks to you I will be able to give as gifts to others. Now. You are a true blessing and I am so grateful. God bless you and your family. Thank you again for a cherished gift.

    Save the best for last? That is what I did. I have been learning crocheting from You Tube and have tired many and made a number of crooked dishcloths. I passed your sight and noticed the edging. I decided to edge the crooked dishcloth and I am so glad I did. Now I am going to follow you through the crocheting process. I appreciated that you talked each stitch though all the way around. I like your style and I feel so empowered to keep on crocheting.

    Great tutorial! I just started crocheting. I am practicing new stitches which are dish cloth size. I was going to throw away one of my first projects and after watching this I put a border on it. It cleaned up the edges so well. Gives me hope to keep going. 🙌🏻 thanks so much!

    Thank you for this tutorial❣️
    I like making & gifting unique dishcloths/washcloths & whenever I’d put a single crochet border around it I’d just wing it & it never looked as nice as these❣️
    I will definitely be trying this method next time & im also going to make your dishcloth as well.
    I have been searching TH-cam for unique shaped & flower & hexagon shaped dishcloths & only found a few.
    Hoping those who are better than I am will make more unique dishcloths/washcloths.
    Appreciate your help my friend.
    Blessings 🙋🏻‍♀️🦋

    Hi! Just saw your tutorial. I made one! I was wondering what the final dimensions were on yours. Mine looks 7.5 x 7.5 inches. Does that sound about right.

    • @CindyJohnson
      @CindyJohnson  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! Yes, I just measured all of mine and they are all either 7.5” x 7.5” or 7.75” x 7.75”. So I think yours is perfect!!! Great job!!! Thanks so much for watching my video!!! Blessings to you!!! ❤️

    When you do the corner and you so 3, do you put your 3 stitches in the same hole?

    • @CindyJohnson
      @CindyJohnson  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good question! Yes, I put three stitches into each corner hole so that it creates a nice turn around the corner. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and for asking the question. I hope you enjoying making edges on dishcloths. Blessings!!! ❤️

    😊where did you get those scissors?❤

    • @CindyJohnson
      @CindyJohnson  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! These scissors are Gingher scissors and they are called blunt-tipped, rounded, pocket scissors. Or something similar. Some people call them kindergarten scissors. They are nice because they do not have a sharp tip. I use them quite often. I hope that helps. Blessings!!! ❤️
