I love the update on the topiary it's funny how something so simple took it to the next level. Thanks for sharing with us, and Congrats to you and Mom on your booth.🥳
o I'm so excited and happy for you! your booth looks great and I know you will be successful in the future there! I love the projects that you did and I really want to find a topiary and see if I can get it to look like yours. if I lived there or even close it would be mine, lol. have a blessed day and hugs to you and your mom. p.s. I also have 3 sons and so grateful for them and all the help they've been to me, their mom, who they haul and also a little building at times with no complaints. love them so much.
Love your creative decorations! I did the iron-on transfers on two teatowels. I was like you where I didn't follow your directions!LOL. My first attempt I cut around the images like how you explained in your video. The second time I didn't. Oh boy, the paper around the image made a rectangle around my image on the towel. The excess paper infused in the fabric. However, I used my iron to heat and melt the excess off. It came off though. Lesson learn! Congratulations on your booth! It looks amazing!
BEAUTIFUL!!!! I've enjoyed so much as I was assembling a lamp! My first time here, I will be back!!! Such beautiful projects! So relaxing to watch and learn! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Please wear a mask as you're inhaling dust from the sanding and also fumes from the paint. 🥺
Congratulations on your booth!! Excited to hear all about how successful it will be. As for the reverse image transfer with the Liquitex gel medium, don't give up on your Ink Jet printer. Make your copy, let it sit for 24 hours, then spray with a clear sealant, let dry and then try to transfer it. Would love to hear back if you give it a try. Also I would love to know how you design you tags, they are just the cutest. So love your channel and look forward to new episodes, whenever I have time I'm always going back to watch episodes from the past.
First of all, your booth looks fabulous! Congrats! Thanks so much for taking us along as you dealt with the challenges of using the gel medium. It helped me realize that it's all about the process - not perfection.
Thank you so much, Denise! Yes, it was definitely a challenge but I was determined to make it work! LOL Mistakes aren't failure...they are just how we learn what works and how we learn to overcome our challenges, at least that's how I like to think of it! And, yes...it is about the process and not about perfection! Anyway, thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment! XOXO You have a BEAUTIFUL day, Denise!
I loved everything, especially the letter box....job well done!! If I lived close to your location I'd definitely visit your shop. Your shop decor was quite unique & attractive. Good luck.
OH, that is so cool! That would be dangerous for me for sure! I went in there to stock my booth and wasn't there 5 minutes and bought $74 worth of shutters! LOL Anyway, thanks for sharing and for watching, Mary Jo!!! XOXO

XOXO PS> Sorry, this is so late but I've been sooooo busy this week but I want you to know I appreciate you taking the time to leave this sweet comment! Have a GREAT weekend, Becky!!!
Im so happy for you and your mom opening a booth its alot of hard work but it will pay off in the end. I have some of the birds that had candle wax in them I picked them up at the thrift store for probably $1.00 or so I took paper clay and filled the cavity with it and while it was wet iBooks a piece of heavy cards took and I used the side of it to make lil marks in the paper to look like feathers it worked perfectly they look real so I let them dry over a week and they were still a lil damp so I put them in the oven for 2 hours on low low setting and they dryed and then I did the baking soda and paint on them they are so cute . Thanks for having such a wonderful in informative channel.
Just found you today! Love your creativity and how you bring beauty to those overlooked treasures. But my favorite thing was hearing you champion other crafters and booth vendors. That's beauty at its finest! Thanks for adding that kind of beauty to our world!
You really have a good eye Kelly. Your booth looks amazing!! I’m glad you got that cabinet from Lisa at Sweet & Sassy Treasures !!!! Your family makes a GREAT team !! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Awesome so happy for you and Mom. I find I have to clear coat or prime shiny things before painting. Dixie bell has a slick stick primer. It works great. Also I see Diedra use the medium on the paper when she does paper transfers and rubs off the paper and she uses a laser jet. Looking forward to all your projects for your booth. Warm hugs from Arizona.
I love this video, it’s a real inspiration for me to spruce up my booth. I have a booth in a little place called Sharla’s Selectables in Waldron Arkansas. The owners there are the sweetest.
Love your booth!😊 Thank you for showing the mistakes. Sometimes I get frustrated and want to give up when I craft but you are so encouraging and it helps to see that others struggle sometimes as well. Hope you have a blessed weekend.
Oh yes...not everything works out, so I wanted people to know that and for them not to give up! And, thank you so much about the compliment on our booth! I really appreciate that! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment, Laura!!! XOXO
Oh I love the birds - I have been doing the base coat - flat- never thought to use the texture in black - I think I will still spray a base - but then do black texture! Oh and I see you did not decant your paint! Oh well, thanks for the cameo!
I use to do the same, to decorate my home because of one, I couldn't afford the department stores and another because no one else had it and I bought all my clothes from the goodwill young adults would comment and ask me where I got my big bell bottom jeans so they could get some, that was 35 years ago when they didn't no longer make them, I always got compliments on my home and clothes and wasn't embarrassed to tell them where i got them, and I would tell them you can't buy them unless you find some from the thrift stores, I am delighted to see you doing the same, I just got this very nice clock from goodwill that was 2ft by 2ft that didn't work and bought a round 18 " antique brass one that did and took the working parts from it and fixed it, then took a bunch of photos and made a big picture frame out of it and put the glass back in it and hung it, my adult grandchildren and children now want it,
