I use ink jet printer for reverse mod podge. I spray image with hair spray, wait a few minutes then apply. I also wait 24 hrs. before wetting and rubbing paper off. So far so good. Love your booth.
@@gaylesimper9311 I just lightly spay whatever I printed with couple coats hair spray, wait about 30 min. or so till completely dry and then apply my paper to my project with mod podge as usual. No smearing issues thus far. I just use cheap hair spray from dollar store.

Just found you today! Love your creativity and how you bring beauty to those overlooked treasures. But my favorite thing was hearing you champion other crafters and booth vendors. That's beauty at its finest! Thanks for adding that kind of beauty to our world!
First of all, your booth looks fabulous! Congrats! Thanks so much for taking us along as you dealt with the challenges of using the gel medium. It helped me realize that it's all about the process - not perfection.
Thank you so much, Denise! Yes, it was definitely a challenge but I was determined to make it work! Congratulations on your booth!! Excited to hear all about how successful it will be. As for the reverse image transfer with the Liquitex gel medium, don't give up on your Ink Jet printer. Make your copy, let it sit for 24 hours, then spray with a clear sealant, let dry and then try to transfer it. Would love to hear back if you give it a try. Im so happy for you and your mom opening a booth its alot of hard work but it will pay off in the end. I have some of the birds that had candle wax in them I picked them up at the thrift store for probably $1.00 or so I took paper clay and filled the cavity with it and while it was wet iBooks a piece of heavy cards took and I used the side of it to make lil marks in the paper to look like feathers it worked perfectly they look real so I let them dry over a week and they were still a lil damp so I put them in the oven for 2 hours on low low setting and they dryed and then I did the baking soda and paint on them they are so cute . That transfer method is really hard lol if you don't use too enough water you get a blister if you use too much water it doesn't transfer. I only use very small graphics for that method now. our Upcycled Life makes this look SO easy!
Your booth is looking great, Kelly! Best of luck to you & Mom. I loved this video. I've been using the chalk paint/baking soda method & it totally transforms everything. Really great projects! 💕

Hi Kelly, just an idea, if you use plastic spoons to to measure & stir it's easier. I'm just 5 miles away from Collettes. I'll check out your booth. I also just started these craft ideas also. Thank you for your awesome crafts
I use to do the same, to decorate my home because of one, I couldn't afford the department stores and another because no one else had it and I bought all my clothes from the goodwill young adults would comment and ask me where I got my big bell bottom jeans so they could get some, that was 35 years ago when they didn't no longer make them, I always got compliments on my home and clothes and wasn't embarrassed to tell them where i got them, and I would tell them you can't buy them unless you find some from the thrift stores, I am delighted to see you doing the same, I just got this very nice clock from goodwill that was 2ft by 2ft that didn't work and bought a round 18 " antique brass one that did and took the working parts from it and fixed it, then took a bunch of photos and made a big picture frame out of it and put the glass back in it and hung it, my adult grandchildren and children now want it,
Where do u get all your energy?? All the shopping, fixing and re-doing??? I want some of whatever you drink in the mornings!! 🤣
Same here!!
I love your taste for repourposing thrift items, all your items are beautiful!!
That’s why I love your channel, boo boo’s and all. You are the best.

Great stuff loved it
Hi Kelly, just an idea, if you use plastic spoons to to measure & stir it's easier.
