    When taking of trim use a flat head but cover the tip with electrical tape so it won’t scratch the plastic

    Thanks for the video. My rear signal lights are installed with Last that you used. Next week, the front signal lights. I hope those 7443 will keep the driving lights available with no modifications?

    Are you still using these? Any Cons?

    • @nazarettos6987
      @nazarettos6987  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The only con is that when you leave your turn signal on for 5 minutes it will start hyperflashing because resistor on the LED get hot. Ictested it out and it happens after 4-5 minutes,but when it cools down its all back to normal.

  • @exoticcar5482

    Appreciate the video but i must say I honestly do not understand why car manufacturers that have made almost all exterior lights LED still even in 2021 use halogen for the turn signals. It's such a stupid holdout. Even Toyota's much cheaper, more compact Corolla Hatchback has stock OEM amber LED turn signals in the rear. While I would totally be down for an upgrade like this, the problem is the need for resistors defeat the purpose at least for me. You still end up with the same power consumption as the old halogen bulbs and yet that's kinda the primary thing I don't want when I upgrade to LEDs

    • @nazarettos6987
      @nazarettos6987  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you,but LEDs much brighter cleaner looking. I'm happy with my upgrade but I do wish Toyota already installed them stock.

    • @exoticcar5482
      @exoticcar5482 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nazarettos6987 Don't get me wrong. You're right that there are advantages to doing this even with resistors such as higher brightness and longer lifespan. The very least I would ask of these manufacturers is to use blinker modules that accommodate LEDs even if they want to use incandescent. But I guess that's illegal since incandescents may malfunction at the power consumption of LEDs. But still, the presence of LED turn signals that come stock with some vehicles out there, especially from luxury brands, proves that manufacturers can and do make flashers that work with LEDs and they're just refusing to use them

    I think 2019-2020 Toyota RAV4 already has stock LED license plate lights

    • @nazarettos6987
      @nazarettos6987  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you are correct, I found that out yesterday. Also I encountered problem with these LEDs, they get hot after you use turnsignal more than 3 minutes and hyperflashing starts. I ended up installing my old bulbs.

    • @t.khattabi7727
      @t.khattabi7727 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nazarettos6987 yes, some of the Toyotas like the Camry, Corolla, Avalon, RAV4 2018, 19 or 20 up have LED license plate plates. Sienna and new generation 2020 Highlander still have the old ugly yellow 168/194 halogen bulbs

      @@nazarettos6987 I recommend Sylvania ZEVO or regular Sylvania LED bulbs, especially for reflector housing. Regular ones cost about $14-15 while the ZEVO's cost anywhere between $18-35 depending on the store and bulb. I have a pair of regular Sylvania LED 7443R (red) in the outer tail/brake light assembly on our 2009 Toyota Sienna, the bulbs are very bright crisp red and high quality with a clean OEM look. Had them on since the end of December and they still work great. Just bought a pair of amber Sylvania ZEVO 3157 for the front signals off Ebay today. The only downside to them is that they don't have hyperflash resistors in them but I bought a 4-pack of those regular orange resistors for about $7 so it's not a big deal. Highly recommend the Sylvania version of these lights, gonna have to install separate resistors which isn't hard but those look great and should last about nearly as long as your reliable Toyota will👍.

    I like this SUV but one thing i dont like is during the day you have literally no break light on this car.
    They have that huge red lens and only 1 dot on the lower tip light up during the day.
    I think thats a bad design by Toyota. They should recall that and make it give off more light during the day. I could easily mistake them for marker lights.
