Hey Brad it's the season of giving and caring and I haven't seen many peopke comment this on your channel I think you're videos are the absolute peak of Nerf entertainment and you deserve SO MANY MORE subs than you have! Merry Christmas Bradley. 😊
Merry Christmas right back at you !
Dude "Diana aint helping you get it in" is such a hilarious line
I definitely need one now! Thx for the review Bradley.
Really helpful to see the difference between the worker dart types, thank you!
Your reviews are awesome!!!!!
That is sooo nice. Love it has no spool up time.
This is the best secondary I’ve seen
I prefer my 2003 nerf nite finder
Nice looking blaster!
No political intent here, but it's absolutely insane to me that Australia has _appearance_ laws for toy blasters. That seems so subjective.
Needs to be I know 4 different kids who got shot because cops thought they had guys
And that's the fault of a piece of plastic? Ohhh you mean it's the fault of the little kid that was murdered by state actors! Glad that's cleared up.
@@kingrutse3278 Where the f*ck do you live, Somalia?
No child in Australia has ever been shot by police for need guns mate 😂@@kingrutse3278
@@kingrutse3278that on the police
Great video as always! I have a few of magazines extensions which give 24 dart capacity- makes full auto much more practical.
That sounds like a good option too.
Does it use the stock mag spring and any issues with feeding?
@@dirtydart68 Yes it uses the stock spring, and no feeding issues. I bought them from M416gelblaster, they use an extra mag body inverted and a brace that screws the two sections together with four screws.
I tried 2 time s to get one in, one got seized in Vic and one in NSW. Glad I didnt pay the rediculous pricing some one did over here at $500++ for one, So I will wait for BlasterTech to aquire them. As the price is the same for what I was originally looking at paying.
I hope HC will come out a dual stage brushless flywheel mainarm. Something like gryphon and still retain all the goodies. But i guess price will be a big issue as now it require 4 brushless motor which will put a high cost on it.
SH-Storm + HC-Diana, is the best combination you can buy, so far.
I prefer Sabre apex prime pair with HC Diana (one for sniping one for cqc)
@@randomuser-mv7bb
Our events mostly take place in the CQB environment/speedball field,
so I even short down my Storm (to 28cm barrel). (270fps)
However, if the event is on a big field, I will also choose a springer,
such as Apex or Slynx or Lonx, as my primary for sniper playstyle. (400+fps)
These blaster are all top on the list tho :p
true
This blaster looks cool and I understand the advantages of brushless, but for the price I believe maybe a banshee upgraded nightingale with some upgrade motors would seemingly perform as good or outperform this in the FPS department for a fraction of the price. It’s brushless but doesn’t come programmable unless you end up missing it to do that. I do believe it’s really cool though and I love the look imo
My only hesitations with this are the realistic use as you pointed out (which limits where you can play with it) and the fact that you can't program it (which in my opinion is one of the best benefits of a brushless blaster).
I hear it can be programmed with a computer but it's a little advanced for most people.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT well that's good to hear!
@BradleyPhillipsYT Is this clear frame version durable to withstand prolonged usage?
You're the only youtuber that makes me feel sad living in Victoria. Lol. Love your videos tho.
I got one to be a sidearm with my sweetheart storm 2.0 plus. Still waiting on both to come in as they were preorders so I can’t speak from experience yet as to their effectiveness but I can’t wait to play with both.
You will rule the field with these if none of your opponent arms with same blaster setup like yours.
Idk why this didn’t occur to me before, but the feature that would really cement this as a perfect sidearm would be grip safety that activated the low rpm mode for the flywheels
there is a holster that turns on the low rpm mode when you draw the diana
@@burmanatorx7725 oh yeah, I remember that now! Wow deep cut lol
Maybe a progressive trigger would work. Half pull to rev, full pull to shoot.
@@Crlarl that's basically going backwards
@@burmanatorx7725
How do you mean?
Looks fun!
This was a great video! The one thing I'd add is that the guy doing the accuracy test in that video you analyzed of the BCAR probably wasn't very accurate, so I would be curious if a better test could be done on a few options
Considering they are trying to sell the product I would think they at least believed the BCAR was an improvement in their video, but it wasn't.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT Fair point. BCARs are much harder to tune for flywheelers I've found, because there's no air seal.
that thing is a freaking beauty! *SOB*
Hi Bradley, i'm a huge fan. I was wondering how you safely charge your LiPo's. Could you please show how you do it for the diana battery pls. It would be greatly appreciated if you could do that for me.
Bruh I had no idea nerf guns had come this far.. glad this came across my feed!
Some slight Helical modifications to the darts would make them 10x as accurate. Make them have some aerodynamic features that help induce a spin. Like arrows have a helical offset in their vanes, or like some Shotgun rounds. Look up "shotgun darts" or "Rifled Slugs" theres even one called the "storm trooper" that makes a Starwars like laser noise when in flight. At any rate, the helical "rifling" helps stabilize the dart and makes it less prone to tumbling or wobbling off target. They have done high speed camera testing to show it actually works. Despite what some experts wanted to claim.
could probably take a small Dremel and shave some material out in a helical pattern yourself. Or even pitch the idea to the company. Maybe they have can mold them with them already.
Most spring powered Nerf blasters actually use rifling to add spin to the darts, it's just flywheel blasters like this one that tend not to.
As for rifling the foam itself, I have also tried that and shown it works. Just can't get it consistent enough by hand. Would require industrial equipment to churn them out the same each time.
hey, those dirt stains are a sign of being battle worn lol, but it does look pretty cool and fun to use ^^
Id love to see you test the bcar they sell or maybe others that might be available in the future.
Flywheel BCARs need to be touching the flywheel cage or they don't improve anything
Have you seen the Javelin by Spitfire Products? This seems a fun springer for you. Anyways, I’m glad you are also having fun with the Diana. It’s not perfect but it’s a great pistol
I have seen the Javelin, pretty sure they're printing one for me too
@@BradleyPhillipsYT very nice. I hope that one makes it through customs. It looks less like a gun…
Where did you get the different colors did you 3d print then
are you planning to do a review and mod video about the xshot's longshot??
Yes when one finally arrives from the USA
I'm still waiting for a springer that uses an airsoft sector gear and a gear rack to automatically reload it after every shot. That way the lock time is low and you get the power and accuracy of a springer.
I just got 2 in pink to dual wield like an idiot. Hot dayum are they fun little blasters! =D
Dual wielding though not entirely practical would be a lot of fun!
I have something special built for the Diana upcoming on my channel very soon, the review is up on the base pistol already though if anyone wants to see more Diana content
those pov gameplay looked like it was out of the cyberpunk photo realistic mode
Genuine question: What is the appeal of Nerf over something like airsoft? Seems like the blasters don't normally fire very accurately or get much distance. I know they can be modded, but even still isn't airsoft just better in all regards?
Airsoft is illegal in multiple countries.
Tbh id rather play airsoft, but as an engineer this is some cool tech they put into the blaster 🙃
Drone battery with a drone startup tone.
Australia. Lowering the bar every day.
So sad. Glad you got to enjoy this neat toy, despite shitty govt regulations.
Fun video!
Looks like a jolt reskin to me
03:45 betaflight startup tune - are they using drone esc/flight controllers to run this thing :D?
acro mode pistol
Brad, u still have your worker phoenix 2.0 flywheel? Have u try added the fire control unit onto it? It has motor brake and plenty of program to play around with it. It makes the flywheel much playable without the noisy rev all the time.
I don't have it anymore, it's pretty large for a sidearm and too low power for a primary
Where can I get this thing for mag cutting?
Out of Darts or I believe there's files online
Is this at battle for Waterloo?
Yes
Since when does Bradley do fly wheelers? LoL
17 hours ago 😮
Dude… believe it or not, this thing only sells for 768 rmb on Taobao, the price on that website is too expensive. 1:15
Makes sense. Wind doesn't cause as much deviation with the heavier dart
so living in Victoria I can get this?
I wouldn't risk it
7:05 - Don't need electric when you have Tritium. 😎
Gavin Fuzzy SBF next :))
Gavin says ready in January
Akimbo!!!!
As an American, what the hell are appearance laws?
The only thing I would watch out for with heavies in flywheels is that it's been reported that certain flywheels get jammed with them cause they struggle to crush the denser head
(Sadly, I don't remember which were reported to be an issue)
Quite possible, probably more common with high crush setups
I hope all of Australia feels safer knowing that dangerous nerf blasters are being stopped at the border.
brad if you have 1000$ what nerf gun will you buy
Probably a Sweetheart Storm
@@budgiedeep21go for worker blaster
Personally if I had that much I'd buy multiple blasters (I know that wasn't the question though)
@@MonarchNerf I'd get the Sweetheart Storm and pocket the change :P
@@BradleyPhillipsYT well if lord Brad the 2st says so it must be! 😅
brad next video is your 400 video
Would be cool if the trigger had 2 positions, the first one spinning it up, and the second one firing, i wonder if you can mod it.
What are you running *today* Brad? hahaha.
I'm using the Sweetheart Storm with Sabre BCAR
The fact that a guy with 25k subs, does airsoft and uses NERF... is using a 4k GoPro to do it. Shows commitment. Most commentary tubers dont even put in that much effort.
Diana looks nice but extra mags need to be easily obtained
The mags are sold by the same retailers who sell the Diana
Ok cool just haven’t seen the spare mags for sale yet hence why I’m holding back
I'm surprised you didn't follow up by suing.
Suing the government would cost at least $50k and you could lose.
Second
i am the only person who noticed this looks like the Militech M-10AF Lexington 💀
dual wield them as primary.
That would be fun
I can't believe a nerf gun is illegal in places
i used 100 9mm shells to see how big 90 cm was in freedom units...MURICA
My heart sank the moment I heard the phrase "illegal in Victoria" 😭
You mean gel blaster?
Haych See?
What the hell are Australian gun laws
Only a prison colony would confiscate Nerf blasters... oh wait 😆
love it, wish it wasn't flipped so much by resellers though.
What's it cost in China?
Supposedly it is $100 in China on Taobao, if you can read Chinese and find someone to ship it for you. I bought the fully transparent version from a Chinese reseller for $178 shipped and that included the battery. Took about 3 weeks to get delivered to the US.
You could get it past customs? I was told it was contraband@@paochow7
Wait...APPEARANCE LAWS!? WTF!?!?
RIP troys nipple
APPERANCE LAWS LOL
Man, Australian policy sucks.
very cool untill I looked at the price XDXDXD
it's so Devil's ruin
4S lipo? I'm from the world of RC and that battery would power an extremely fast very large RC car. Maybe this is the norm for Nerf, but from my world, that's insane.
First
Diana? well, just don't try using it in any tunnels......
The very *fact* that *anybody knows* that they can take a steel "toob", a firework and the tip of a big nail to make an illegal and lethal firearm, makes *any gun law (globally) * just pointless.😂
Nah,not as cool a linda but still cool
lol it uses beta flight! I use that for my racing quads. Cool as!
imagine paying money to play at a nerf field
$450?! Might as well buy a Glock 😂
Don't think your buddies would enjoy you shooting them with that
Lol welcome to the Hell of idiotic RC batteries with wires hanging off them.
Shaky hands
at that price, why not just get an airsoft rifle?
Because they are illegal here
@@BradleyPhillipsYT my b
All good, not everyone knows how strict Australia is
@@BradleyPhillipsYT Man, that bites
@@BradleyPhillipsYTI’m shooketh. In the US happy meal comes with Glock
what no most powerfull crap? I'm surprised LOL my paintball gun shoots at 300 fps.... and is full auto with a 250 round " mag " ish.....$260 .... think I'd rather a tippmamm a5
This is relatively low power for Nerf. Have a look at some other videos.
Australia is fucked 😂
i still prefer my rekt jury for sidearm, then my qwk edge, then manually throwing a dart while loudly shouting like a mentally challenged individual, then Id consider, maybe, a flywheeler
Wish the qwk blasters weren't so finicky and still obtainable
@@frozenfade the Edge is not that bad, very simple mechanism inside
Lmao wow... nerf gun getting seized.
Airsoft: look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power!
1:30 Wow... Ignorant Fascistic laws.
Lmao you guys can't even own gel blasters or airsoft haha
appearance laws are absolutely idiotic, no you won't convince me otherwise worse than cali
come to America.. we don't steal other peoples purchased guns.. specially nerf guns
