Are those files for sale anywhere? I was about to design a tip to screw into the attachment points on the muzzle, but would gladly pay a reasonable price if someone’s already done the work.
Ive always wondered why my brushless drone motors (without props) and rc cars are so quiet but all flywheeler are noisy af. glad to see this issue addressed in a commercial product.
The initial "delay" in a brushless is because the controller doesn't know the motors rotor position in relation to the stator, and needs to "bump" it along for it to generate enough voltage in the idle coil for it to sense the position. By keeping it idle, it'll keep track of the position and you can get rid of that initial lag.
@@outofdarts product suggestion, based on one i saw from some one else, a cutting jig for nightengale mags, that shows you exactly where to cut to engage the mag release for all the blasters that fit the Nightengale mags
@@Casual_BackPacking I would like blasters to come with one extra mag if they are proprietary. That way I can reload once, in case of a long round or something like an HvZ.
I love the level of integration on this. Especially love it being so quiet, too. I think one nice thing to change would be a capacitive piece on the trigger or the grip to get the motors from off to ready before you fire it, yet preserve energy while holstered.
One of our players got one from the first batch. It's absolutely stunning. The sound alone is so unique and it's really crazy seeing such a small blaster have so much "gravity". Everyone instantly was drawn to it and it made a lasting impression. Might need to expand my budget at some point to give it a go. ❤
The price point is understandable but a bit difficult to swallow. I'd be willing to pay $300 under two conditions: it's available in a brighter color scheme, and there's some kind of solution to the heatsink issue, which I've heard multiple users talk about. It's a great blaster, but for that price point it should be nigh perfect out of the box.
@David_Randall8108 People are saying that it gets hot enough to actually affect gameplay. Like, you actually need to holster it for a bit to let it cool down. I've heard this from multiple sources, most recently XFox, and that's a bit concerning in terms of both longevity and comfort. I'm sure the community will come up with a solution, or the spec we receive might have some changes to address it. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
@@AirzonesBlasters What's the advantage of motor braking? I know it strains the internals, so I'm assuming there's a good reason to put up with the extra wear and tear.

I'd love to get one of these but currently they're only available at Black Raisins and those guys are notorious for massive markups. So I'll wait until it's more widely available because while I expected it to run double the price of a Nightingale, 4x seems excessive.
From what I've heard the manufacturer is being really difficult about overseas distribution, since they want a ridiculous amount of money at wholesale.
@@egg_timer I love how the Diana looks, but the Nightingale is no slouch. Other than that, the main thing the Diana has going for it is how much quieter it is. The moment someone offers brushless motors for the Nightingale all bets are off.

Oh I adore this thing. I would absolutely buy one of these if y'all get it in the shop. For something with that profile, I would want at the very least the top, slide and muzzle in blaze, orange, and probably the other half of the blaster in a bright color as well. As nice as this is, I still think I’d rather have the nightingale, just because it doesn’t look so close to a real steel firearm
Would be interested for sure if you get them in the shop... right now seems like there are very few ways. Some sort of a orange meaningful color would be ideal.
Hi Luke, i'm a huge fan. I was wondering how you safely charge your LiPo's. Could you please show how you do it for the diana battery pls. It would be greatly appreciated if you could do that for me.
I definitely want one but the problem of getting them in and frontlinefoam said it will be about 350 for them to sell. So they are waiting to get it in cheaper since import cost is way to high.

I imagine someone will design a shell this slots into to break up the real-steel silhouette. Personally I am looking forward to the future iterations/ competitors that will bring down the price of the compact mag in grip fly-wheeler
300 US dollars is indeed a bit too expensive for Diana. It costs approximately 768 RMB (approximately 105 US dollars) to purchase locally, but the production is indeed very low, with only about 100 to 200 units shipped each time. I don't know what the final purchase price will be on the platform

$300 is a low-ball estimate for the Diana, and includes international freight and import duties. We haven't yet negotiated with HC, and we don't know if we can even get it at that price.
Brushless is cool but its potential is wasted on micro-wheels. $300 and it can't even hit as hard as a regular brushed flywheeler. I'd rather just save up for a momentum which I feel is worth way more than 2 of these.
