  • Air Fried Garlic Butter Mushrooms is great served on top of steak, chicken, or as a side. Air frying the mushrooms in silky smooth butter gives it the perfect sear and flavor.
    Air Fried Garlic Butter Mushrooms
    Ingredients:
    Mushrooms - 12 oz
    Garlic Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Pepper Flakes - 1/8 tsp
    Black Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp or as needed
    Unsalted Butter - 2 Tbsp
    Olive Oil - 1 Tbsp
    Instructions:
    1. Preheat Air Fryer at 375 degrees F
    2. Wash and pat dry mushrooms, do not soak in water or it will absorb too much water
    3. Carefully slice the mushrooms making sure all are in similar size
    4. Add garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and oil to the mushrooms and mix well
    5. Add butter to the Air Fryer inner pot (I am using inner pot to cook the mushrooms to make sure it gets cooked in the butter). If using basket, butter might leak through and cooking time will also need to be adjusted as it will cook faster
    6. Butter will melt since the pot is hot and add the seasoned mushrooms to the inner pot and mix well
    7. Air fry at 375 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes (Mushrooms in this video was air fried for 17 minutes)
    8. Stir every 5 minutes
    9. After 10 minutes of air frying, add red pepper flakes and mix well and continue to air fry
    10. Serve on top of steak, chicken, or as a side

If you have to keep opening and closing the air fryer that often it is too much work. Get a good cast iron skillet and make the same thing in less time.

There are people who have limitations on appliances they have. This is one way they can make if they choose to.

You can use regular air fryer basket but butter might leak through a little.. u can also use a air fryer safe dish.. any oven safe dish can be used in the air fryer

ok, I am new to the airfryer to start with, now I'm REALLY CONFUSED! Mine doesn't have a pot inside it, mine is a basket. Don't tell me I have to buy yet another airfryer?????

Mine is an air fryer/pressure cooker combo and so I have the pot. You can make this in the basket but won't be as buttery as it might leak through the holes. Also basket might cook faster since air goes around, so keep an eye.

The one in the video is the Ninja Foodi. It's an air frier and a pressure cooker. They are amazing.

Please, please get a sharper chef knife or buy a new one. It is frightening to watch anyone having that much effort to slice a fungus.
