I only had to stop and think twice as i didnt know how to merge and also the 'EQ' just popped up from nowhere so had to go and find that.....but i wanted to finish the video so i found them. Have to admit i got all the way through it up until the last sampleone bit where you added an 808. Do we need to have 808 samples or something to insert them as i couldnt see any presonus stuff with it. That chord insertion was something else! I went and paid for chord software a few weeks back as didnt know i could do that in presonus. Yet again, thank you immensely man.
Thanks a lot! Yup you need some 808 samples to drag into sample one.Cymatics has free drum sample packs that are good quality,they include 808's. For doing slide 808's though you will need longer ones that are for Drill music,you can easily find those if you search free drill sample pack on google! Feel free to ask anything if I don't explain or edit it out!
In Studio One explore the LOOPS tab on the right side of screen. When it's open, find the search bar where is written Tag Search and type 808 in it. You will be surprised by the 808s provided by Studio One .

Im having a hard time getting that "drill knock" on my kicks even though i have like 20 kick samples very similar too that one. they just dont sound as big and hard as i would like. thanks!
Hey ,thanks.I can't find that project to see what sample I used but its probably from the 808 melo drumkit. To get that knock you need a soft clipper ,you put it on the master and then increase the kick volume around 0 to +3 db .. I use the T-racks classic clipper for this.That's basically all you need to do.
Start using 48KHz, it's hard to explain but I will try. The formula is "Device Block Size (DBS)/Sample rate = Latency. So if DBS is 512 samples then at 44.1kHz latency is 11.6ms but at 48KHz, it would be 10.7ms. Furthermore, it's better to sample down, rather than up. Also, your voiceover was pretty terrible and it has been better. Then another thing, I can see the T-RackS 5 on the Master/Main, how come? In terms of it vs the default limiter set to soft clip
Hey thanks for the feedback!I can not change any of that because I run Studio One through Voicemeter to OBS to capture my sound and that is default and grayed out at 44khz..I know Its not the ideal but I will try to use different programs to see if they are any better.. As for the voiceover ,yup I notice sometimes its better and it depends on how far my mic is and the amount of gain on it..need to figure this out ,I'm new to youtube so I learn as I go. As for the soft clipper ,I use it so that I have it at -6db ,so that my voice can be heard even if I play a beat and talk at the same time.Every soft clipper has a different character ,since I clip my kicks and sometimes 808's on Trap beats I find that T-Racks sounds by far the best.Sometimes they have it for free if you sign up on their newsletter(was 2 months ago). Hope your questions where answered!
I don't know if I'm the only one, but I click to drag the chords from the chord track and nothing shows up. Am I doing something wrong or missing a step somewhere?
my studio one doesnt have the chord drop down option...just ..ruler, marker, arranger, signature, and tempo...do I need an upgrade? thx so I cant drag the chords down into track....please help

What is it with people have you no imagination “I’ll just search for a chord progression” how ridiculous use your brain. Make it up same goes for the melody, just make it up. Your obviously not much of a musician if you have to rely samples and “tools” to create music. But I guess that is 95 % of so called producers and “creatives” today. Learn an instrument learn all about music and how to play it.

I can put chords in a chord track...but I can't drag it to an instrument? Is that a new feature with 5.4 version? :)

I tried but the chords wouldn't drag down into Presence. What am I doing wrong?
Are you using Studio One Pro version? Cause I think it only works on the Pro version

Every daw will crash , Once I uprgaded my PC I have no crashes with any daw ever since. Make sure you have autosave on just in case.

Yes, the chord track is included only in the pro version…
