Our boy is finally going to become a father, and happy Mother's Day to Sylphie.
14:40 the anime hasn't mentioned it, but Badigadi has been missing ever since him showing up at Rudeus' house and seeing Ruijerd. Even back during the bit where Linia and Pursena gave Rudeus that "present," he was missing - the scene where Luke asks Rudeus to come with him to Ariel and Sylphy plays out differently in the LN. Nanahoshi had started showing up in the dining hall at the university, and Rudeus was eating there with her and Zanoba's group, and Rudeus starts imitating Badigadi's laugh, which is when Luke shows up, asking what's funny, to which Rudeus says he wanted to see if he could summon Badigadi with laughter since he hadn't been seen around in a month.
It's so smart how the autor managed to not made it obvius to have the help both Ruijerd and Badigadi so Rudeus, the only strong option is the one that need to go
Tbh its good that anime is cutting out this stuff cuz other wise the anime would end up being too long, the people who really want to know all the nitty gritty details like me and you will also go read the novel before or after the episode
@@KuroAshi_senpai i feel like most people in general would love more details on the story. So much of what’s cut out makes the world and characters feel so much more alive and real. You are right that the anime would end up being like 200 episodes if they included everything though (it’s already on track to be like 120 episodes if we get all the way up to season 5). I think anime only people might’ve not appreciated extra details with the school arc though but that’s cause most people came into this story thinking it’s a Shonen or some shit. A lot of people saw fight scenes online, especially the Orsted one, and that’s what made them watch the show.
Even the first few novels is mainly of focused on character building world building etc and a lot of that was cut out of the first season to get to action quicker for more viewers.
I guess at the end of the day animes are made to help the source material sell more since that’s where more money comes in from. Wish they could approach it like how it’s done in the west, where the show itself makes money due to advertising/streams so they wouldn’t have to rush as much

@@KuroAshi_senpai I feel like it could have been mentioned at least once, it shouldn't add more than a couple seconds for one line of dialogue. It doesn't need to be brought up multiple times like it is in the LN, but Badigadi's absence is mentioned at the start of the Turning Point 3 chapter, so they could've added it to Rudeus' narration when he's doing his morning exercise in this episode.
Rudy cant send anyone. Only him and Elinalise could make it to Begaritt. I feel like what zanoba meant is that Rudys child will grow up whether he leaves or not. If he comes back 2-3 years later his child is still technically a baby so he is not late but this is his only chance to save his mom after paul searched for years so im glad Rudy made this choice.

In the anime, it's not stated, but at this point in the light novel, Badigadi is missing. No one has seen him in a while, so he wasn't an option.

Also Soldat isn’t around at this time he’s out on a mission and won’t be back for months (if he’s even agree to go, he’s a sword for hire and that place is super dangerous)
@@AshishAroraait’s weird man, you’d think the people producing this haven’t read the light novel or anything. Badigadi being missing ever since his face off with Ruijerd is actually really important later in the story, so it’s weird they cut it out when it could’ve been stated in a simple line at any point in the past few episodes.
This is the first time rudy is ignoring the man God's advice it will be interesting to see how this plays out
Idk bro the man god seems kinda sus ngl. Orsted was clearly a good guy since he was helping nanahoshi and stuff, but hes got such a deep hatred to man god for some reason. I wanna hop on the LN but im just foo lazy😂
Nobody has seen Badigadi since he meet Ruijerd. This was not calrified in the anime.
I agree with zenoba.. a child will still be born even if his father wasn't around.. but if he doesn't leave his mother might die.. he can save his mother and go back to his wife and child
Consider it like this, Sylphie is in a safe environment surrounded by powerful people, while rudy may or maynot be able to send someone to help but not many is as strong as he is, as stated last episode he is basically one of the strongest if not THE strongest at the school. Its a choice between saving lives vs Missing some years with your wife and child both choices leave room for regret. But i can't say i will be willing to leave my parents high and dry sending a random when i know i have the power to make a difference.
I think what ur saying is right but there is one more aspect to it. Man god had clearly stated that rudeus will regret leaving her wife. If it was normal situation, yeah still missing some earlier years with his kid would be regretful. But when man god said it specifically, then risk could be that he might lose more than just the years with his child. That's the main risk I think.
Imo it's a risky decision to make, but like u said, school is still somewhat safe with cliff and zanoba around. And even if Man God still insisted on rudeus having regrets even tho those two are there, I'd say it was Right to go to begarrit because man god's very suspicious too. I mean that guy legit told to cheat on sylphie on beast girls 💀 💀 His advice seems very deluded. In the end though, it all boils down to how serious does Rudeus consider the threat of Man god's warning about Rudeus having regret if he goes VS the threat of begarrit on Zenith and Paul. Whether to trust Man God or not.
@@sarvagya7137 yup yup and not just specious he also said either way he's going to end up with regret. So would going make the situation worse for Rudy or would it make the situation worse for what he wants from Rudy.
@@DDemiGodd yep. After talking with bunch of Mushoku tensei viewers, i think the aspect that Rudeus is going against the advice of Man God is what will actually have deep impact on story. Sure he could miss some years with his child, but I don't think that's really that big of a deal as the child would still be 1 year old so rudeus can spend most time. But if something else happens to Sylphie and child whilst Rudy was gone (which Man God Kinda seems to be scaring us about), then that will leave a huge impact on Rudeus. Nevertheless Rudeus chooses to help his parents atm and not trust Man god's advice/warning so yeah we have to see what comes next from this decision. I do think Rudy did right though cos man god just seems too suspicious, he is now saying that Rudy was always gonna have regret and spouting bullshit about beast girls cheating so yeah he is just not trustful right now
I would go. If my parents died knowing I could have helped in any way possible, the guilt would kill me. Knowing my parents died while I sat at home. Also, i think "The Man God" has his own agenda.

Yep! Because at the end of the day he is going to have regrets if they die and his sisters will hate him or 1 of them at least. Like that will cause problems even if he did stay. He really would need therapy.

I'm ngl, if I was in Rudy's shoes, I'd do the same thing as him, go and rescue my parents'! I understand that the biggest regret of him going is leaving his pregnant wife and missing his child's birth, but knowing how strong he is, he knows that he can for sure do something if he goes to help. His wife and friends he has at home seem stable right now, he has no idea what the danger Paul and Zenith are in and we're talking about possible death, what's more important than that? Also, as soon as Man-God started talking about hooking up with Linia or Pursena, I would've said "aight, I'm done here" 😂
Yeah it’s not very easy but it’s the most logical. Sulphite is safe healthy has Rudeus sisters as support, has princess ariel, Luke, Zanoba and the entire campus area is safe. Plus She is strong herself. It’s ’only’ 2 years but if he doesn’t go, mom and dad can die. Gotta save mom man.

I hope they animate a particular encounter with a monster that rudues and elinalise have to deal with on their journey if you know you know
Since I know they probably want to end the season with the final chapter of book 12 they likely will cut most of the desert traveling arc and make it an opening montage I feel

@@TheRoleplayer40kthat’s if they return to doing opening montages each episode, which i don’t think they will. The current opening covers the entire cour 2 so i think they plan to use it every episode.
@@aidz4785 So they arrive in begaritt and they take a break and wait out the night but Rudy being Rudy he starts to get turned on by elinalise sleeping and heads outside to relieve himself and comes across a beautiful woman that gives off a strong sweet smell well he goes towards her and before he gets too close elinalise comes out to fight the woman well it ain’t no woman it’s actually a succubus so Rudy being under the spell says some really embarrassing stuff like “You know I’ve always wanted to have sex you” and “just a little bit” and “it will be our little secret” among other things. She kills the succubus and knocks some sense into Rudy to use detox magic on himself to cure himself of sorts it was funny in the books as that is the last monster that you would want them to encounter. Btw woman are unaffected by the succubus and instead of a sweet smell it comes off as a horrible stench that’s how elinalise knew something was up and went out to see what it was

TP1 changes the timeline so that there's a future where Hitogami can be defeated. His scheming already resulted in the destruction of 5 of the worlds in the Six-Sided World, not to mention the explosion that created the sea half the size of the human world and killed way more people than the teleportation incident was a direct result of his advice. The teleportation incident pales in comparison to the damage he's caused.
Sylphie said it was ok to support him, but she didn't wanted him to go at all.
Zanoba, being royalty didn't had much interaction with his dadat all, so he doesn't care about parents.
The family themes that are relatable is something I really appreciate from this anime especially since it's an fantasy set in another world
3 points that I think are important to point out: if Rudeus doesn't cheat, he would still be going against Hitogami's advice.
And Zanoba point of view comes from a prince, he probably never had his father's attention growing up. And I think the turning point in this case is Rudy directly challenging Hitogami's opinion on a matter.
They really gave him this on Mother's Day weekend. Nasty work
The one weakness about this show is that they didn't explain that since ruijerd and bodigodi had that weird show down, the demon king bodigodi has been MIA for several months since then. No one has an idea on where he is, rudy has no one to ask

The reason why they send it to rudy because they know rudy can help them. If we sent somebody im not sure anybody can help them. By the fact paul, roxy, talhand, Geese already there. They're an S rank adventure but still having trouble, rudy should go there
What I find curious is, the letter took a year to reach Rudeus, it will take him a year to get there, so who’s to say they’re still fighting the problem after 2 Years?
@@Oakland510 im guessing rudy will get there in less than a year. Either with Nanahoshi's help with the teleportation circles she mentioned or with some magic to help me travel long distances faster.

Essentially the tuning point was both that Syplhie is pregnant and the more important thing, that Rudy for the first time ever, defied the Man-God's advice/order. Now we're entering into the consequences of his choice or the "Turning Point 3 arc" if you will. Now until the end of the arc and the aftermath, everything is part of the Turning Point 3 decision.
I think there's more to hitogami advice, it's second time he advise rudy not go when in both cases otherwise he would go meet with Roxy

@@Oakland510 thats a spoiler. Rudy doesnt know at this point. He just realized he hasnt seen Badi since that morning with Ruijerd. He doesnt know where did he go or why he left.
My only point was that Rudy couldnt ask anyone else to go help his family except Elinalise, and even her seems a bit lacking since Paul is stronger than her and still they are struggling for some reason.

For someone who not understand why rudy have hard time to choose that because hitogami word as someone who can see a future really carrying weight for rudy, it not solely because he fear missed sylphy pregnancy but the regret part kinda haunt him alot too.
14:55 It's not super clear in the anime but Rudy hasn't seen Badigadi since Rujerd left. He doesn't know where he is or when or if he's coming back

I'm not father so my judgment is kinda bias, but the decision for me is not that hard, losing the birth of my child and a couple years, or doing nothing and maybe losing Zenith, Paul, Roxy, Lilia,... , the author was very clever with that Ruijerd - Badi fight, and the departure of Ruijerd, leaving Rudy without strong and adventurous friends.
i didnt distrust the man god til this episode because his reason were bullshit and thought of on the spot he trying to keep rudy from learning something about him over there because of the dragon god or something

Badigadi isnt really a good option to send instead of Rudeus (even if Badigadi was still around). People who know the novels know why. Ruijerd would be a good choice but he left already too.
The idea for asking for help should be out of the question for me, cause you’re basically telling someone to sacrifice 2 years plus of their lives for you. It’s too big and who know how long the main rescue would take and how dangerous the travel would be

He had no other options and well I don't want to spoil too much, but I want to see if you'll be able to guess why Hitogami (the man god) gave this "advice", with pieces you could put together from what's been shown in the anime. Here's a hint, which character encounter was missed with the bit of advice back in the demon continent? It may seem simple but this turning point and this future encounter are the most important decision/event in the series and the eventual sequel series

Badi Gadi disappeared after he ran into Ruijerd. It’s actually been quite some time since they’ve seen him by this point in time so he’s not an option. Same goes for Ruijerd. Rudy has no way to reach them right now. His only real options are the people currently close to him and no one else is quite as strong and capable as Rudy. Rudy is by far the best candidate to go help.

At this point in the story we don’t know why he left or where he went, but we do know he hasn’t been seen since they interacted outside of Rudy’s house that morning. He has disappeared for the indefinite future, but that’s not unusual for demon kings like himself. Ruijerd is also long gone for now.
I was watchin the videos of avatar the last airbender and I was really enjoying y’all’s content and was gonna subscribe until y’all just wanted to quit halfway thru the series and give up on making videos for the rest of the episodes so I’d rather not subscribe to a channel that’s probably gonna just give up on a series of videos I enjoy watching so no thanks
