That original video didn’t leave my mind when I first saw it and I actually left the lace fronts behind, going into wearing primarily half wigs or crocheting my hair. Not going to lie I feel like it really elevated my looks even more, and the compliments doubled --I ended up taking way better care of my natural hair (edges regrown included 😂) cause I couldn’t hide it behind all the got 2 be glued and lace.

I work in beauty as an eyebrow artist, and I see lace fronts on a daily basis I can promise you none of them look good, and they always look terrible. Even if they’re well blended. It just looks so fake the only time I’ve ever seen a lace front look good is on TV or TH-cam.

Please leave the lace frontal dependance alone. It only looks good on stage, social media (filters) and on first application. I don't understand sacrificing your true natural beauty to be in another form of bondage and enslavement.
I let my friends peer pressure me in 2018 to try lace fronts. They thought my slick back bun and natural hair was played out. I was also bored and looking for a change so I openly tried. And the way my edges ran away from my forehead to the nape of my neck. I can say, only now after 5 years my edges are fully restored. One year of wearing lace fronts occasionally took FIVE years to recover and feel like myself again. Don't do it!

@@Elegan_tehave you seen a dermatologist to look at your scalp? You should have them look at it under the lens, they can tell you if the hair can grow back or if the scalp is scarred. If the scalp isn’t scarred I would highly recommend trying onion treatments and derma stamping or derma rolling and a liquid b3 supplement. It will take some time and patience but if the follicles are not permanently damaged, it’s a much cheaper and natural solution. Sending love to you, I know hair loss is discouraging ❤

I would love to get a vixen sew in but I have eczema through out my scalp.i can't keep braids in to save my life. By the end of the week I'm crying because I want to scratch my head and the braids and weave are in the way. After that I'm taking scissors and cutting it out of hair lol I just get ponytails or a natural looking glueless wig for quick and easy styles because I work out a lot and sweat out anything I do to my hair. I also like being able to run my hands through my hair at the end of the day. It be a waste of money for me to do anything else.

However, I wear my lace front uniquely so it doesn't look tacky: (A) I fold the lace underneath the wig hairline, so my hairline shows, no glue or tacky gel down baby hair. (B) I pull a tiny bit of my bangs out to blend with the front of the wig. My lace is never visible. My family can't even tell when I wear wig.
