Thank you!!!! I am also fascinated by Presidential history and I love TR for all he did to protect National Parks. Your opinion is significant to me and your support means so much, I appreciate it.
@@WalkwithHistory I think you have a great channel with interesting topics and it will be slow but I am confident that you will build a following. I was going to say to that it’s a shame that they built those elaborate buildings for the world fairs and then tore them down. It seems like such a wasteful practice. Those old buildings would’ve been wonderful to see today.
So true. It is all residential lots now. The marker for the assassination is on a median in the middle of a neighborhood. The people living there didn’t seem bothered at all when I was recording.
Nice! Makes me sad that most of those wood and plaster buildings were temporary and dismantled (and not rebuilt). That Temple of Music looked like a sight to behold!
In 1896 Garrett Hobart was McKinley's VP. Teddy Roosevelt wanted to be the 1900 VP candidate. Hobart refused to step aside then died in November 1899, age 55. TR and McKinley were elected and inaugurated March, 1901. McKinley was assassinated September, 1901 and TR became president. McKinley's campaign manager, Senator Mark Hanna, wanted to challenge TR in GOP presidential primaries in 1904. Hanna died February, 1904. TR wins reelection in November, 1904.
Unlike Dallas TX, Buffalo appeared to not want to preserve any part of the McKinley assassination. Dallas has Dealy Plaza and Trauma rm one at Parkland hospital. Which are still available to the public
Please don’t misrepresent what I say. I said at 4pm McKinley was shaking hands then meets Czolgosz. I never say exactly when he is shot. If you are looking to misrepresent me, and to mislead the facts of what I say you will find it for any person. Thank you for watching.
@@WalkwithHistory Its The facts nothing personal or whatever okay president McKinley was shot 407 pm they found one bullet the other bullet is now intombed in the monument which they left inside of his body my thing s now the facts don't say random things that are untrue which you did but Good Job I like your video besides missing the facts like you did go read the history books maybe you get your facts correct 💯
The bullet the one is with his body in the they didn't get it out of his body the second shot they did find it hit his button and they did find it so you saying they didn't find either is a missrespenting of history has fact go read your history books before stateing what you think is fact which is not but good job otherwise you said they didn't find either bullet how is this insulting you it is not I am telling you the facts
LOL. I love the comments that insult me then tell me not to respond. They get one bullet out and one they can’t find is not misrepresenting the facts. Those are the facts. One bullet is out and one is left behind. One was deflected and grazed him, and they found it while one went in his abdomen. I am telling what happened to the 2 bullets. Thank you for watching!
@@WalkwithHistory I honestly didn't what he was saying, because the grammar was so terrible. I couldn't tell if the person was asking a question or stating a fact.
Look Miss you don't have all your facts right go back and study then you might be intelligent enough to go all the facts I am from Canton Ohio home of President McKinley
Splendid. I wish that I would have visited that location 10 years ago when I was in Buffalo. Presidential history fascinates me.

I know. All the water features were filled in too. So many residential homes now, I guess that was what was needed at the time.
TR was also the youngest man ever to become President... only 42 at the time of these events
I like how you put a story together
Great video....
