Join the History Center for An Evening with Cyril Wecht, a fascinating conversation with Pittsburgher and famed pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht, co-author of the new book, “The Life and Deaths of Cyril Wecht: Memoirs of America’s Most Controversial Forensic Pathologist,” on Thursday, March 18, at 7 p.m., on Zoom.
This virtual program, which will be moderated by KDKA-AM radio host Larry Richert and include the book’s co-author Jeff Sewald, will delve into Wecht’s experiences with high-profile cases, such as the deaths of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, JonBenet Ramsey, and more. The program will provide an intimate look at other important cases and moments during a remarkable career that spans six decades.
As described in his memoir, Wecht will also discuss his life in the public eye and his legal battles with determined and powerful authorities, including the Pittsburgh district attorney’s office, the U.S. attorney’s office, and the FBI.

Dr. Wecht is a LEGEND..@ lived a lifetime beyond believe . Down to earth, yet rising WAY above the works of MANY human beings in his amazing career. His Beloved family reminds me of a Patriarch from the Hebrew Bible. Even his 4 kids have achieved professions of the highest ranks. THESE apples didnt fall too far from the Tree.

Wow, I highly doubtful I will make 80yrs but to be that sharp at 90 is absolutely incredible. I also have the highest respect for this man and how humble he is is also cool, talking about his ten year old car and on top of it all he has a great sense of humor. Like so many I first learned of this man in relation to the JFK assassination. He knows his stuff and I learned so much listening to him in regard to that case even tonight in regard to the two wound channels in the brain, true evidence giving scientific credence to things we have only speculated about until now.

@@randyharris3175 Exactly, I was hoping someone who is't a hard-core CT person - but is questioning - would watch this and see that Mr. Wecht is mistaken about his 'info' and never did have the facts on his side. I've watched him in more recent interviews and he was still talking about a 'magic and pristine bullet' and, I would say, knowingly misrepresenting the Single Bullet Conclusion (as Max Holland put it). I really liked the videos by Max Holland. It's almost unbelievable how people continue to say "magic bullet' and 'grassy knoll' shooter.
Wecht continues to be wrong about the Kennedy assassanation. No evidence Kennedy was shot in the head twice.

@@randyharris3175 I did use to take it for granted the WR was full of it (even Woody Allen, back in the 60's jokingly said he was working on a non-fiction version of the WR) and thought there must have been a grassy knoll shooter. But, ironically, after reading the WR, I understood the evidence is just all there against Mr. Oswald. Imagine, he pulled off his big accomplishment, then only a few people believe he even did it. He just hasn't gotten his due credit lol. I almost feel bad for him.

It pays to pay attention to high-quality good resolution copies of the Mary Moorman film. If you look at the top of the occipital bone there is a 2-inch exit wound from when JFK was shot at Z286. The lower part of the wound bears an irregular white curved line, which is the thickness of JFK's skull as just blasted open. Mary Moorman took her picture at Z316, by which time JFK has a huge Z313 right temporal hole/flap which is on the other side and can't be seen. The 4x4 inch right occipitoparietal hole isn't there yet in Mary Moorman because that frontal shot didn't happen until Z342-343. If you look at Zapruder frame Z286 and pay attention to the shadow of the Babushka Lady, you can see the two-inch JFK skull ejectum with bone and hair flying up and to the left, a little above the midway part of the shadow.

This man is incredible, the definitive expert on all aspects of the JFK assassination and an incredibly engaging speaker. Is he really 90? Wow, he runs rings around all the so-called experts out there a fraction of his age!
Fascinating to hear his theory on the Jonbenet Ramsey case, a bizarre one for sure but my feeling has always been it was a sinister misadventure by her abusive father. Dr Wecht nailed it. As he mentioned here, the autopsy exposed the long term sexual abuse she'd been subjected to - she was also sexually assaulted by her killer. That leaves only one logical conclusion, John Ramsey was her abuser and killer.
It is appalling how many heinous crimes are covered up by powerful people!

This definitive expert lies about the condition of the stretcher bullet, about the positions of the victims during the shooting, etc.
Wecht stages recreations of the shooting using two actors seated bolt upright, facing forward, which he knows full well is a blatant lie. He was more persuasive as he solemnly guided viewers step by step through the video "Alien Autopsy."
Please do not mistake this for egotism, but I am a pretty darned good Evolutionary Biologist and am rarely blown away by someone in the Biological Sciences from a mere 1 hour interview. Folks, he's even more impressive than you think. The word genius is thrown about far too often. In fact, it's nearly always misused. But this man, this man is a legitimate genius especially at his age. He's like Robert McNamara in that respect, up until his recent death. He was razor sharp until his death around 100 (please don't turn this into a political scuffle because I won't take part--don't waste your time either, mate). Both of these men possess AT LEAST 1 standard deviation of IQ above me ... perhaps 2. I love listening to people that are more intelligent than I am. It's a necessary ego check so I don't become a jerk. Cheers
