I have been using the ordinary Matrixyl serum very consistently for 6 months and the difference it has made to my eye area in particular my upper eyelid is incredible. No weird texture and greatly reduced hooded eyelids. It genuinely has helped big time.

As a Licensed Esthetician (Ret) I’m so happy you found success in this wonderful affordable product 😊 Over & Over I tell people it’s about ingredients not price! The Ordinary is a very reliable & reputable company! 👍🏻 If you ever need a Vit C serum, may I highly suggest Vanicream’s Vit C serum! The best on the market imo! Keep up the great stuff! Highly recommend The Ordinarys peptides Matrixyl and the Argereline (can’t spell so sorry 😂) I just added their copper peptide formula which has both in it and it my skins been looking smooth and glossy.
So is it better to go for the ordinary copper peptide only instead of all three peptides? And how to use copper peptide? Like on the tretinoin days off? Leaving overnight? Do we need to layer it with something?
I’m no doctor but I have the Ziip and the Omnilux red light therapy mask. The Ziip is good but found it’s too much work and I stopped using it. But the Omnilux…..GET IT GET IT GET IT…..it has done wonders for my skin, I use it almost every night. I’m saying omnilux bc that’s the brand I use, other brands may be just as great, but red light therapy has helped eliminate my hyperpigmentation, even out my skin tone, gives the glow from with in. It is the one product that I can say if the day ever came that it broke, I’d reorder IMMEDIATELY.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I'm 50 & have used the matrixyl and argerline for a couple of years but have recently started using retinol more consistently. I instinctively put my eye cream on first, so glad I've been doing it the correct way

In my experience it’s about keeping some fat on your body as you age. We do want to be lean but you have to figure out what the sweet spot weight is for you. I see a lot of older women post menopause who are “skinny” but look skeletal. A certain amount of fat equals youthfulness. It’s really about weight training, eating enough protein and maintaining a healthy body weight. In addition, micro needling from what I’ve been hearing is the gold standard on collagen building in the face. I’m currently doing research on this now.
@@ssmith8758Well put, everyone is different of course but Dr Idriss says something like, 'you have to choose between having fat on your face *and* fat on your a** or losing the fat on both!😂 I'm looking into microneedling as well, it seems to be what most people recommend as an, at home, treatment for the best 'delay aging' results. Do you mean it made wrinkles appear when you started using it? If so, that's normal. If you continue using it, they will go away, and you'll notice a big difference in how nice your skin looks. Skin can look pretty bad when you initially start using products like retional.
