im not sad that theyre ending, im sad that they sucked in the first place. youre extremely right about the harry potter advent calendars. its very hard seeing how much love lego gives harry potter while marvel and star wars keep suffering lately (oh and obligatory shoutout to dc fans too, sorry guys) i miss the days when even star wars advent calendars would have one non-holiday figure that was exclusive, and now we dont even have that anymore, just the endless sweaters, which i hate. the marvel advent calendars couldve been more creative with builds and theming and couldve given us better figures
Just to clarify, LEGO doesn’t design the advent calendars together. They’re created by their own separate themes. So the HP theme allocates a part of their yearly budget for making an incredible advent calendar. SW and Marvel do not. They do two prints and that’s it.

I feel like they made an obvious mistake in the 2024 spiderman advent calendar by not making the green goblin a santa variant.. his design and build was literally asking for it, how was that not the obvious decision to make. maybe if they did that, wed be getting more advent calendars.

If they did another marvel advent calendar i would love an ironman theme. Have several Ironman suits both re-releases and new suits that haven’t been made yet. I would even be happy with just 24 new Ironman miniatures with no builds

On one hand, I don't really care about the advent calendars. On the other, its a slippery slope. If LEGO shafts Marvel on advent calendars, what else are they gonna get rid of?
No worries. If they had some more exclusive mini figures then I could have gotten more excited about it. I think Harry Potter fits the theme better so hopefully that continues.
We still need to get an Advent Calendar taking place inside 12 Grimmauld Place, so I think they will still be making LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendars.

The figures aren't meeting the hype, they're climbing in price, and the demand is falling. I do prefer the marvel ones over other themes, though, especially as a certified Anti-HP guy. I like the minifig scale builds I can put in other sets. Will be sad if this comes to pass. I do get them on clearance every year, and I rarely feel they meet expectations at a $30 price point (only paid $20 for this year's thankfully), so I do get the demand falling off.
Hopefully with marvel missing out we can get a ninjago one, it’s one of the most popular themes and it’s an easy way to make exclusive and wanted characters
Just picked up this years advent calendar for marvel because LEGO had it marked down to $30 - usually it’s the retail stores that have them on sale but at least with this I could get a few extra reward points and that white spider ham head to make a white figure with the anti venom body next year
Not really upset. I think Lego has been pushing too many Advent Calendars recently. I'm guessing this was the Marvel's last chance to prove itself profitable enough to stay. My friend gets me the City Advent Calendar every year. But this year he couldn't find it in stores and had to order it off the website. Maybe City was pushed to the side to see if Marvel could preform better? I hope this means City Calendars will be back in stores next year.
I was really hoping this years was going to be based of the what if Justin Hammer stole Christmas episode from what if plus a few things from other episodes specially as we've got the last season releasing soon. Spider-Man was a good idea just not executed as well as it could have been. Hawkeye could have been a good calendar too, but it's been a few years since the show came out.
My parents bought me the 2024 Lego Marvel advent calendar, honestly…it’s kind of mid XD The most it’s giving me are an extra Spider-Man figure, an extra Venom figure, an extra Spider-Gwen figure, an exclusive Miles figure, and a comic style Green Goblin figure which I’ve never had! Other than that builds are pretty meh
A little disappointed. I get them every year and they're just cute little things. If it's because they don't sell well, then they should try to make them worth buying like the HP ones instead of giving up on them. Hopefully this means that a little more effort and money will be going to main sets but I doubt that.

But it should be about the relationship and attachment you have to the theme. Also, TTV is very much irrelevant these days, I believe they rebranded or something? There’s much more relevant, engaging and non-toxic Ninjago communities out there like Masters of Brickjitsu or Bricks by Mind
The Lego Harry Potter 18+ Burro also has 24 bags, so it works as an advent calendar as well. It’s actually exactly what my brother and I have as an advent calendar.

Basically the church where Venom was born (or a portion of the building that mainly focuses on the bell tower). There can be a rotating section that you can spin around for Eddie to Venom and back and what not

Cheapest way to get all the Infinity Stones was the 2nd Thanos Mech. Had a full Infinity Gauntlet on the mechs’ hand.
