WB AND Sony’s abuse of the characters that they just so happened to own just makes me even more supportive of independent studios (especially indie cartoons) and Austin McConnell’s Superzeroes which is a cinematic universe made up of forgotten public domain comic book characters. It’s only just gotten started with a couple books he wrote and movies still in production with one trailer just coming out.
I think I know what it will be. The same guy who directed Kraven will be directing a Zelda movie and a Naruto movie (both live action). If anyone you know is a Naruto fan or a Zelda fan, reach out to them when they drop.
@CubeytheawesomeI feel so bad for all the Zelda fans who smoked copium for years that their adaptation was gonna be good. This is like holding your thumb out to see how safe you are from a nuke.
I've heard that Tom Holland actually filmed a cameo for the 2018 Venom film, but Marvel Studios forced Sony to delete the scene because at the time it wouldn't have made sense. Up until today, I've heard that Sony "legally couldn't include" Spider-Man in any of their spin-off films because of the back-and-forth licensing deal with Disney/Marvel Studios. But now what they've revealed that they always could've included Spider-Man in their films, it makes me wonder why Sony decided to momentarily take Spider-Man out of the MCU in 2019 in the first place if the IP handling was never really an issue.
Sony took out Spider-Man in 2019 because they wanted a better contact where they get more money In the previous deal Marvel only got the merchandising rights and 5% profits while they produced the films and Sony kept rest of it. Marvel asked for producing and keeping 25-50% of the movie's profits which Sony didn't like who wanted to continue the previous deal
The guy responsible for sewing Deadpool's mouth shut in X-men Origins Wolverine moved from Fox to Sony in 2019 and wanted more money from the contracts with Marvel. Look up Tom Rothman and his crimes
I’m not convinced that the “legally couldn’t include Spidey” bit is wrong, to be honest. Hollywood lies all the time to confuse the facts and hide their true motives.
I have no idea what Sony is doing at this rate. Doing everything they can to keep the spider-man IP. Thankfully they realized this was hurting them financially
Oh. So Sony actually does want to risk pissing off their fans even more than they already have. Lowkey they have balls of Adamantium to even make a decision like that.
As someone else commented, Sony should cast Andrew Garfield for their Spider-Man. Considering that the TASM movies have become better in hindsight, perhaps these would too, in a cheesy way.
If sony was smart they should just focus on miles spiderman, and if they want a sinister six movie, they could create a solo films of different version of spider people, and each of their villian will comeback and team up together to defeat miles.
Or a Spider-Man 2099 movie staring Oscar Isaac. Enter The Spiderverse introduced so many different Spider-Man concepts that could be (pardon the pun) spun off into other projects that it feels weird that they're focusing instead on C-tier villains who have had no real mainstream build-up.
Sony: "I knew if i vanished for long enough, you’d just watch and wait, your neglected body growing smelly and useless. But that was just phase one of my evil plan. Well, keep watching. Dookie-Dib. Watch helplessly as I begin…PHASE TWOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!"
It’s ironic since venom is the only Spider-Man villain who is actually affected by spidey He mimics spider’s powers and even looks like him Yet he’s also the only one who can carry his own spider-man-less movie
They have a whole ass universe, or no, in-fact, a MULTIVERSE of Spider-People that they can make Spidey-like spinoffs of, yet they constantly choose to make these shitty movies with legendary villains? Makes no sense.
If we get a new live action Spider-Man i really hope he's not the same old teenage peter Parker, it'll be interesting to finally have a adult Spider-Man or an entirely different Spider-Man
Its so easy to make a spiderman shared universe. Id argue its the easiest character next to maybe batman. The problem is NO ONE wants to read and adapt the comics. Yes there are people who get pissed off when a movie is as close to a perfect comic adaptation but then you have people who loved the peter jackson lotr movies and what close adaptations. Its literally easy money.
Meanwhile James Gunn is apparently greenlighting more projects featuring Batman villains based on the success of Penguin. You CAN have villain movies and shows without the hero, but they need to be written really well to be compelling and that hasn't been the case with the Spider-man-less Universe.
I want them to bring Andrew Garfield back for this universe, Tobey belongs in the original trilogy and or fox universe, while tom remains in the MCU, while andrew gets to be in the Sony verse.

You know what guys? What if we are just gonna start ignoring their movies? If noone will go to the cinema on their movie, then they will not make any money out of it.......whose with me???
Thing is the first Venom movie is crap. People just went to see it coz it was a Venom movie. These 'analysts' never learn that just coz a thing made money doesn't mean it was liked.
I just can't with Sony man. They just keep shooting their feet and thinking they could walk. They should just walk to Marvel Studios, except the L, and give them Spider-man back.
I think their plan is When Secret wars end and marvel reboots their universe then Sony will not give Spiderman to Marvel to use them in their rebooted MCU instead they will make a Universe of their own with New spiderman and people will think its the rebooted Spiderman from MCU
Sony really said "We were just beginning" 😭
😂
You thought I was dead, nah, I'mma do my own spiderman.
bro was so done with this universe, they made him go muslim for a second💀💀
Lmao
Husseinberg
I Do Know Allah
I do know how to pray
I do know how to explode
OMG Sony just give the Spider-Man rights back to marvel
After Beyond the Spider Verse comes out of course
If only
They aren’t gonna “give” the biggest superhero away 😂
@@griff1240 we see about that

Andrew Garfield: come on man! Im right here!
even he also doesn't wanna join
You're acting like if Andrew is begging to get into this mess of a universe 😂
Andrew doesn't want to have any business with Sony, and I don't blame him
Before you know it they’re gonna make a movie that has a 0 for both Rotten Tomatoes and the audience

Adamantium is an understatment
IMO they should just cast Andrew Garfield peter parker in that universe and make him figh sinister 6
Would he want to do that? Probably not
So basically tasm 3 but andrew would only join if marvel is also working on the movie
Well, that short victory was fun while it lasted 😔😭

Other things being worse doesn’t make the previous bad ones any better.
"Oh yeah take these ass movies we're just starting"
You got to be kidding me. How many L will take until they’re done
Spider-Man is the most lucrative superhero in the world. They’ll make a low-effort box office bomb every 3-5 years if it means keeping the rights.

Or focus on the Spider-women cause back in the day the only thing that tied them with Spider-Man was the name and powers nothing else
And I just told my dad that Sony was stopping these shitstorms. WTF?!
Sony : Who’s KRAVEN more of our Sony Spider-Man universe movies without Spider-Man 😁😉

Good news is that we never had a bad Spider-Man
Bad news is basically everything else 😅
Sony really wants to keep the ip so bad. I really wish marvel would just sue them.
"NOOOO!" - Darth Vader
sony is going to waste all the necessary fan service by not having spooder-guy
Just give the Spider-Man rights back marvel
OMG SONY JUST GIVE UP ALREADY

Wow Sony completely failed shocker why am I not surprised
And they still won’t make TASM3
"In shaa Allah". Didn't expect that. That's a good shout out
Brother they’ve lost the fight ever since Morbius came out.
If they do make more of these garbage spinoff movies it's time to boycott Sony
What about 28 years later?
I GOT ONE MORE IN ME - Sony
They could see that we were Kraven some more content!
They are sooooo desperate like just give the rights to marvel after beyond the spider verse
can we stop calling it a spiderman universe? he ain't even there.
"I got one more in me!" Ahh Sony
Audience: you gotta stop
Sony: i can't, it's self sustaining now
Has it ever occurred to them that people might not be interested in a film about a Spider-Man villain they have never heard of
Now Sony needs to bring them all together for an avengers type movie or sinister 6 without a spiderman.
Just make a animated Ben Reilly movie
Get Andrew Garfield back as spider man in Sony's universe
Venom 1 was genuinely a good guilty pleasure. I wish we would’ve had better sequels to it and Carnage was R rated.
ngl i dont care about any of the other movies except new venom movies because each one was banger after banger for me
i really wish venom was apart of the mcu, or if andrew's spiderman would be in the sony universe
I’m so convinced that dude is Gianni DeCenzo from Cobra Kai.
Title of vid should’ve been “It’s not over, and I’m not happy”
Can’t believe it took them this long to come to that conclusion 😂
Sony will continue to make the movies because they will NEVER let the spiderman IP go.
It’s ironic since venom is the only Spider-Man villain who is actually affected by spidey
He mimics spider’s powers and even looks like him
Yet he’s also the only one who can carry his own spider-man-less movie

THEY CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!!!

Joe Keery as Peter Parker
Jack Quaid as Harry Osborn

Or Gaten Matarrazo as Peter Parker with a stunt double as spider man. Sadie Sink as MJ. Sabrina Carpenter as Black Cat. And Mark Hamill as Dr Octopus.
@ParkerCS2 "Stop!Stop!" - Mr Azeez

Meanwhile James Gunn is apparently greenlighting more projects featuring Batman villains based on the success of Penguin.
You CAN have villain movies and shows without the hero, but they need to be written really well to be compelling and that hasn't been the case with the Spider-man-less Universe.

Y'all have to realize that thoes scores are from Critics
Sony needs to give to up bro istg. They ,a king the dark universal movies look good 💀
T-they could have had Spiderman here the whole time? Why not do that!? Just have him show up in Venom, no one's going to question that!
Sony said “I got a couple more dogshit movies in me”
Spider Man deserves to go back to Marvel because that's where he belongs and Marvel is his home
This confirms Sony is allergic to money
Just add a Spider-Man from a different universe it wouldn't be that hard
I’d cast Josh Hutcherson or Joe Keery as an adult Peter Parker.
This movie cost 110 million dollars (134,091,016.22 in 2024) and has a 2,000,000 opening. Audiences are Kraven' a different direction.

Very weird thing is that even tom holland is Sonys asset they have not included him even once in all these movies!!!
The audacity of Sony. To make more bad movies despite the string of flops (barring the Venom films) they had.
If they had just made Andrew Garfield the unifying antagonist of all these movies, we could have had something really AMAZING, or at least unique here
Why can't they just stop wasting money in a garbage cinematic universe and use it all for Beyond the spider verse?
Just hire Andrew Garfield already and make him fight those villains as the sinister six... that was LITERALLY how TASM 3's plot was supposed to be.
They better introduce Spider-Man properly, if they are to continue this Verse.
