@Flossy Carter Floss do you have any suggestions of a good phone spot if I go to the ave? Any recommendations? If you don't have a report with one of those phone stores you're taking a chance. The deals are good but when you get home and a week later you find out that you got a fuggazi phone or a Frankenstein phone assembled from used parts. You have dozens of spots starting from Jamica and Archer to the Colosseum but it's easy to get bamboozled. It's always the same merchants that sale gold that will scam you and if you try to get your dough back they have 6 brollick dudes on the payroll to handle you. So if you know of any stores with good reputation I would appreciate it.

Thanks for this review! Haven't seen too many tech channels talking about the S8+. Still waiting on my order to come. Had the S7+ since launch and once they said they would do 4 software updates for the S8 series I decided to grab it. Samsung gave me more for the S7+ trade in than what I paid for it. The best part is that the S7+ accessories fit the S8+ so the keyboard with the trackpad will still work. Got the new slim keyboard case for free too. Not too bad. Shout out from The BX!

Youre in the same boat as me. I got the s7+ with the keyboard case with the mousepad. I was u clear if it would work for the s8+... but im also like... do i want to just get the s8 ultra? But i would want at least 12 gb of ram... first world problems..

Wow, thanks so much for showcasing the Plus, it gets almost no attention on TH-cam. The first 3 minutes of you breaking down the specs taught me more about it than any thing I've searched in the last week. Looking forward to your thoughts on it! I'm still using a Tab S4, so I've been considering the upgrade ever since this got revealed.
Coming from the S4 this is definitely an upgrade, but if you’re just a casual tablet user and wanna save a few bucks, I would suggest going with the S7+. It’s basically the same, and you can find it for significantly cheaper now.

This is the very best real-life review of any tablet I have ever seen. Instant subscription, unbelievable that I did not find your channel earlier.
I am just thinking about whether to get the S8+ or Ultra and since everyone is reviewing the Ultra this video came in perfectly. Refreshing, funny, honest. My last tablet was the Tab A6 (2016) running on Lineage already. I don't mind spending a little more on a device I will use every day now that Samsung promises to ship 4 major system updates and 5 years of security updates.
I bought the iPad Air 5 (Blue) 2 weeks ago, but returned it yesterday for the S8+. Unfortunately, the store had to order it, but after seeing this review, I know I’m going to love it so much more!

Great review, I am still holding to my S6 for at least another year, works flawlessly and I agree that the bluetooth s-pen is so underrated.
I'm still holding on to my s5e. Will buy this when s9 series releases and hopefully prices of tab s9 plus go down.

Good morning!! It's 4:34am (my usual wakeup time for work) and I just HAD to start my day off right with Flossy Carter reviewing Samsung Tab 8+. I love how Whiteshoes practically held the tablet hostage 🥰🥰 she's too cute!
As an iPad owner I bought the Galaxy Tab S7+ and was soo impressed by it that I preordered and just received by Tab S8 Ultra 512gig with 16gig ram model. I’m still in awe of this display and with the included backlit keyboard cover its now gonna be my laptop temporary replacement with Dex Mode on deck!!
I heard many complains about the screen brightness.. Its so low and not good in bright light or sunlight... Did you face that problem

I'm a fan of the new S Pen. I've got a tab S7FE and my pen only worked when within maybe half an inch from the screen. The thing was basically useless. I pre-ordered this with the regular S22 (don't see the need for a huge phone if ive got a massive tablet) and because of trade ins and the promos Samsung is running on their app I got this tab and the keyboard case for less than 80 bucks
Nice. You are in the US? You get much better trade-ins than we do in the UK!! Samsung only offered £330 for my 5G Tab S7+ that cost me £1000 18 months ago! Zero reason for me to even think twice with such poor offers. Samsung said they are going all out to kill off all rivals in the US to become the main OEM for tablets and phones, and these deals suggest they are going 100%. Once they have the market they can the squeeze their customers.
@@andyH_England I happened to be fairly lucky on the trade. I'm getting a 150 dollar credit for the phone purchase (plus a 50 dollar credit for the pre-order of the tablet) I'm also trading an s7fe (that I got for 300 USD 2 months ago due to a military discount and a surprise 100 dollar coupon code) for 500 dollars, on top of a military discount on all products anyway. To be fair I'm almost positive I just gamed their system because I always tend to buy new tech from Samsung directly for stupid cheap by playing around with trade ins and bonuses like this. To be fair a big chunk of my discount is from their military program as well
Yes we don't get trade in like that in the UK! Also I'm not sure what you mean re S pen for 7 FE. I have this and I don't think the pen works with gestures as it isn't Bluetooth enabled...mine is fine for writing with etc....or maybe there's something I'm missing?

I wish the s-pen fit into the device like it does the phone. I think that’d be alot better considering the keyboard doesn’t hold it in place either. Also would really want a mouse. I’ll wait and see what the Ultra looks like but if this is a grand I’m scared to see the Ultras price tag

I was ready to convert to Team Sammy this year with an s22 and this tablets, but went with a Canon R6 to try and grow the channel and business.
Micro SD is huge for me, DEX, and with Lumafusion on the way, that's all I need to dump the iPad
I dumped my iPad for this. SD card and lumafusion just what I needed. I have never taken Android tablets seriously and regret ed anything other than consumption. This will suppliment my surface(s) just right

This would be the very first tablet I've ever owned and I was just about get the s7 but then the s8 came out and now I'm back to be confused af 😂. This is why I watch your videos cause when you do a review, you REVIEW.
I have used a 7+ since the day they came out. I'm disabled and in bed most my life, so I average 15 hrs aday everyday! I've never had any issues! Everything works well and fast. You will love either the 7+ or the 8+

I love watching these tablet and phone unboxings even though I can’t afford a lot of these new phones and tablets and I can’t forget that I mostly watch for White Shoes
Solid review as always mister floss. Great tablet but the price is kinda TGH, but here's the thing, Xiaomi pad 5 pro pretty much does everything this tablet does minus the DEX feature with literally half the price (450$). It got a 2.5k 11" display, 120hz, hdr10, Dolby Atmos, Dolby vision. 8G of ram, 8 stereo speakers, 67w fast charging, SD 870G..... I do own it by the way, so i can confidently say that it's a solid tablet, consuming media on it is a joy. So if you dont care about the DEX, then it doesn't really make sense to drop 900$ on a tablet where you can drop half that on the pad 5 pro and you'll be equally satisfied. Now Samsung knights don't @ me lol, that's just how I see it.
It's the superior S-Pen latency along with the other features that S8 plus has which makes it stand a class apart.
Plus feels like this thing is going to last for me forever; 5 years of security updates is insane!
As a student, I really need it but can't afford it right now. Thanks for this video, Flossy. I'll keep watching while hoping to get one someday. ☺

S8 Ultra looks like it'll be so wide-screen ratio'd that it will be awkward to use held portabley. I feel those intending a portable device should go for the Tab S8+. Especially if you want to hold the tablet as you draw with it. Ultra will need to be one a table to draw with.
(Probably better to get the non-Plus S8 version, but who wants an LCD screen? Though an LCD screen will have more longevity over time.)

I love using the S Pen on the Tab S7 and I didn't even realize we had that translate feature from the pen menu. Shout out for showing those little things.

The Tab S8+ is basically the Tab S7+ with a new SoC and two years more support as from today. No reason to upgrade other than you have disposable income or Samsung are giving you a killer deal.
