Bought it today and I have no regrets! For some reason to me it smells quite similar to the original Old Spice aftershave lotion. Does it remind Old Spice to anyone else?
This review is greatly appreciated. Obsession is a classic. A lot of university nostalgia for me as well. Unfortunately nowadays I find the top notes to have too much of a dated effect. However...give it 3-4 hrs and the magic begins to happen....the dry down still works and is still VERY pleasant, subtle (with a good scent bubble) and of course...uniquely sexy. Patience required to get through that dated smell of the top...but the dry down is certainly worth the wait. A work day in a suit is perfect for this fragrance..by the last 3 hrs of the work day the harshness in the cinnamon note would have mellowed to the max.. Go for drinks at a bar after work and ur scent is at full tilt. Works best in warm (not hot weather) and will go on and on and on as the warmth revives it. The advanced dry down is a real lady killer....especially those over 30.
Except for passing over the batch code like it's nothing at 9:42! The date of the bottle determines the manufacturer and formulation and should be mentioned for posterity since you guys hope these reviews will be used for reference in the years to come!
CK Obsession! My favourite fragrance back in the 1990s. This video triggered fond memories at that time and was my signature scent that caught the attention of my sister, which until now, she also love such rich and alluring smell. Sometimes, she even borrowed it to spray on herself.
At 12:45, i finally got around to the performance part of the video where you say you get weak projection. I keep reading reviews and seeing videos that talk abou fantastic sillage and projection for 8 hours! I'm getting nearly the same performance that you're getting with my 2017 bottle. Do you think we may have gotten counterfeit bottles? I get projection for a maximum 2 hours and it's not strong projection. I do get the change in notes but by the time there's the sandalwood dry down, I get a whiff here and there but I have to bring my arm to my nose most of the time. When I bought this in the 1980's, it was incredible and that was when it was a cologne splash! One splash and I felt like I bathed in Obsession all night! Some say that Obsession for Women edp is the way to go. Have you tried that?

I'll definitely be buying the bigger bottles after this..!! Along with CK Be, Escape, Sauvage EDT/EDP.. I would like to try and buy some Creed fragrances but of course, they are expensive.
I have vintage bottle of CK Obsession edt with light brown cap from 90s' half full..... total beast mode. I also have roll on deodorant stick and 125ml aftershave. Exceptional product😊👍💯. Great review.

Still one of the best autumn scents in existence- especially the vintage; the cinnamon is more profound. This is far more stunning than the revolting Le Male le parfum, and far more sexy and serious than 1 Million Prive. Best warm spicy cologne it's very balanced. To me this is excellent for autumn daytime casual. Pleasant fresh oriental and sexy. OMG you're right! OLD BOOKS. This smells like old brown book pages.

I like _CK Obsession_ as it stands out from the crowd, it's not a generic cologne but has aromas of sweet spicy distinction that grabs the center of attention. It has good longevity, full sillage and full projection almost like a ladies perfume but has masculine nuances of course. Its one of CK's classic lines from 1986 (perfumer Bob Slattery) and is hence now a masterpiece, one for the collection. I also bought _CK Dark Obsession_ just to accompany it at night! 😎💖💯🥇

The newer bottles suffer in performance though. Wore it today on a day of heavy rain and just checked for reviews 😁. There is some trivia on this, did you know the indian forest service people use this fragrance as a lure for tigers they need to trap? Apparently it really works! So you know what not to wear when going into tiger country😁

Idk why but i dont like this fragrance i blind bought it and it has an old man vibe to me and i get notes of tobacco which i dont like especially in the heat
No need to watch this, I agree wholeheartedly. This was the first fragrance I had purchased and my youngest son likes it also. My signature scent for 10th grade. I have it to this day and recommend the 2016 summer edition of Obsession. Think the smell toned down and made fresher, but you get that DNA. Now blind buy, but know this, apply liberally and to the clothes, it's only 20 bucks on Notino, and doesn't last long. Though it's perfect for daytime lunches, cuddling with your women, or running errands when it's real hot. It's so light and unoffensive, perfect for outdoors extreme heat.

For stronger Polo Red Extreme, Dior Fahrenheit, D&G the one. They are popular for a reason

Yes a fancier tad sweeter version ...You may like Paul Sebastian clove and sandlewood slightly sweet nuance

Hello Joy...my sister-in-law gifted me a miniature CK cologne set which contains 15 ml Obsession. It's bit stronger and louder.... though not bad.

It’s a FABULOUS fragrance. Especially in cool weather….. and to layer it with a 2-3 sprays of Oud Monarch is such a treat.
