    Perhaps the real Dominic Toretto is the family we made along the way.

    Dominic Toretto's vocabulary is limited to the English words "we", "are" and "family" specifically in that order.

      The first 3 movies are the only good ones:
      The first movie had a cultural impact in the 2000s ranging from video games (just look at racing games from that decade like NFS Underground, Midnight Club 3, Juiced etc) to TV shows (remember Pimp My Ride?) to music videos.
      The second film is like a guilty pleasure type of movie. They doubled down on the car stuff but the plot was the weakest out of all of the movies.
      The third movie had the most effort put into its plot (despite almost none of the characters from the previous 2 films returning for this one) and most fans consider Tokyo Drift to be the best one: the plot, the racing scenes, the cinematography etc all were done really well.
      The 4th one is arguably a little underrated while the 5th one was a bit out of place compared to the others. The 6th film is where the franchise took a turn for the worse (and I say this as someone who liked the 6th film) and the franchise was never the same because of it.

    I've been a fan of the F&F franchise since the beginning, and up until the third movie I've always felt that Brian WAS the face of the saga, but since the fourth fillm back in '09 I didn't like that Brian became a supporting character, a member of "Dom's family". They should've kept his leading character position just like they did with Dom because this all story since '01 started with Brian, he triggered the inicial plot. I also believe that F&F 7 should've been the last movie

    • @CyanRooper
      @CyanRooper 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think Sean Boswell could have been a good replacement for Brian but even if his character got better with newer movies people would still argue that Brian was the true face of Fast and Furious.

    • @Cesarser004
      @Cesarser004 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      And you know why it happened in the third movie? According to the channel bullets and blockbusters, Walker was approached to do the cameo at the end of Tokyo Drift, but didn't do it because he was mourning the passing of a family member. So they decided to go to Diesel instead. Who agreed to do it for free with the condition that they give him control over the franchise and the rights to the Riddick movies.
      The Fast and the Furious was conceived as a vehicle for Walker. Which Nerdstalgic kind of glossed over when he said "they had their leading man in..."

    For car guys and girls the first 3 movies are the only good ones:
    The first movie had a cultural impact in the 2000s ranging from video games (just look at racing games from that decade like NFS Underground, Midnight Club 3, Juiced etc) to TV shows (remember Pimp My Ride?) to music videos. That film turned so many people into car enthusiasts.
    The second film is like a guilty pleasure type of movie. They doubled down on the car stuff but the plot was the weakest out of all of the movies. I'd argue this movie also had an impact on pop culture of the 2000s (the first two films are the main reasons why the Toyota Supra and Nissan Skyline R34 GTR became so popular even among people who don't know anything about cars).
    The third movie had far more effort put into its plot than the previous two (despite almost none of the characters from the previous 2 films returning for this one) and most fans consider Tokyo Drift to be the best one: the plot, the racing scenes, the cinematography etc all were done really well.
    The 4th one is arguably a little underrated while the 5th one was a bit out of place compared to the others (it's a Fast and Furious movie with very little street racing).
