    Mam ang nasa video ground beef ang nasa description ng ingredients ay ground pork. Yung nasa video po ang tama. No big deal po. Pwede rin naman po sa pork. Thank you.

    Nice recipe. Thank you. Is the curing salt necessary?... it is dangerous for health... Will my Luncheon meat taste different without it?

      it's a mixture of salt and sodium nitrate. One of the causes of colon cancer when consuming too much processed meats with sodium nitrates.
      You're better off without it but the color of the luncheon meat will turn grayish after steaming. Alternatives that you could go for are:
      Non-Iodized Sea Salt
      Celery Powder
      Kosher Salt
      Himalayan Salt
      You can also vacuum seal it after making a batch, and it should last in the freezer for atleast a year. As long as there are no freezer burns onto the surface of the vacuum sealed luncheon meat.

      magkaiba po yun, kasi yung himalayan pink salt po ay halos parehas lang ng common table salt or sea salt natin mas healthier lang dahil sa ibang traces ng minerals na wala sa table salt
      yung curing pink salt/prague salt po ay gawa sa sodium nitrite na essential po sa mga processed food para maiwasan magkaroon ng bacteria ang karne na nagiging cause ng botulism

      pwede po siguro kayo makaorder sa online shops na available jan sa lugar ninyo or kung wala po talaga celery po di ko lang po alam paano mag cure gamit yun search nalang po kayo sa internet

      yes for home use pwedeng wag ng lagyan, hindi lng ganun ka pinkish ang color nya thats ok same lng naman masarap and mas tumatagal ang life span pag nilagyan :)

      Besides amg salt at sugar is also a preservative kc ang mga for business purposes and use na frozen foods dami NG carcinogenic ingredients na nilalagay why not make it organic or simplified version not funeral foods just sayin
