I can finally carry one Bible instead of 2 different bibles. After using it for a whole year, I talked about how it helped me. This is a perfect Bible for beginners and also for veterans.

I bought this bible after watching your first review on it last year and I love it. I also go the leather flap with strap. Wish Jesus' words were red... but I think it's a Crossway thing. The paper is ridiculously thing and the font does seems to be on the tiny side. But I have another bible so when reading gets to tight I jump onto that one. But all in all it's an awesome bible and I love it.

I am curious to see how the notes differ. I’ve seen Daily Grace Co has a couple of these ESV Journaling Study Bibles and I really want a Bible I can dedicate to studying with and be able to write notes in as well, but I also don’t know how the notes compare and if I’d be missing out on too much if that makes sense.
I totally understand! On the ESV Study Bible the notes are more detailed. the ESV Journaling Study Bible has less notes but I think thehbare still great and you get the journaling area that absolutely love.

Good job on the review. You covered the important points without dragging it out. Crossway did a great job of taking the notes from the Student Bible and adding the margins for the journaling/note taking aspect for people. Like many people I started with a traditional Bible with thin margins and over time discovered that I was running out of space. Just a tip on the camera that is shooting the overhead shot of the Bible, put it into manual focus and that will keep it from trying to refocus on the hands.

The notes in this bible are from the ESV Student Study Bible. These notes are also in the ESV Woman’s Study Bible, which I own, so I could not justify this bible. However, I really want one.

BIBLE this is my dream Bible! I have an esv journaling only and I love it so much! I've journaled so much in it, I had to retire it because it's so chunky that the spine broke! But to have study notes too?! I didn't know this existed! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Thank you so much for this review! If you see this can you also let us know if yours had chapter numbers and book titles missing? I read some reviews on Amazon with pics of 1 Timothy missing etc and just wanted to know if it was a quality control issue with a few copies or if the whole edition run was printed like that!? I wanted so much to get this Bible but didn't want to chance it.
If gifted this Bible of yours I'd give it to my husband! We just married over a month ago and he doesn't have a journaling Bible and i just know this would be perfect!
