How do you change a darker root only to more ashy blonde? I have Chay and love the dark roots but it’s too dark for me and too much. Suggestions on how to lighten some of it? Thx!!
You could try the blonde for dark hair that loreal makes. They have a dark blonde I believe or medium blonde. I’m working on a few ways to lighten a wig but right now that’s the only suggestion I have for sure.
Hey, hope all is well. I love how you display your wigs. Looking for this or something similar. Could you please point me in the right direction? I can see everything and it isn’t bulky. Please help 😊😊

This is the exact video I needed! Thank you so much! I had a few questions though: 1: will this work on a lace front or will it dye the lace purple? I know you mentioned that the dye sticks less to the cap with the 99% alcohol but I don't think you mentioned lace specifically. 2: would this work on a wig that is more orange than yellow if I used a blue dye?
It doesn’t dye the lace from my experience and I’ve done it to a lot of my wigs. You can use the purple or blue to try and get the orange warmth out. I haven’t done it on a orangey wig specifically but color wheel wise it should help tone it out. 😊
Hi there! I just tried this technique on the Caris wig from Chelsey Smith (used 99%, 4 cap fulls, and let it soak for 20ish min)and it didn't seem to do anything. Is it possible that wig is too yellow for this to work? Or is there a tweak you'd recommend? Thanks! Love your channel!
Caris is probably to warm but you could try the process again with 70% and 6 capfuls instead and it will probably pull more of the warmth out. I want to go and test this on her now! 🤔

I just got a new wig and so tired of losing money sending them back so I put roots into the wig..Went a little overboard and got to much to far down on the roots. My question is there anyway I can lighten these roots? My wig was more the platinum blonde side and I used medium golden blonde root color. You can add some highlights to the rooting to help break up the darker parts. Unfortunately haven’t found a way to go lighter other then that on synthetics yet.
