Added a drain plug to my 2013 Explorer Sport today. I used a 1/4" NPT plug, and tapped where you pointed at 0:19. Worked out perfectly. Thanks!

I thought the sports had a drain plug????
It's easy enough to look at a print and see where to drill. We had a word in the shop for this it's been Mickey Moused !
Do you think it would help to flush a little bit of oil through to help get any gunk or metal at the bottom?
Poor guy likely isn't getting the credit he needs because he tells most of us everything we need to know in the first 20 seconds ❤

On 13 flex does it take 3/8 ratchet for plug?
Can you make a filler hole other than the original?
