Replacing rotors on a 2012 Ford Fusion

I replaced the rotors because they were warped. The driver's side caliper had a frozen slide pin. This caused the brake caliper to only push on one side and warped the rotor. Usually this happens when someone changes the pads only and neglects to clean and lubricate the slide pins. If you know you're doing pads, you should also buy new caliper pin boots to keep dirt and water out of the slide pins.

1999 Mercury Cougar 2.5L V6 There were actually two problems contributing to the P0401 code. (Spoiler alert!) 1. The vacuum hose between the EGR solenoid and the EGR valve had a leak.
