I still feel alloy wheels spoils the whole retro look

Then don't buy it. I for one am going to change the wire spokes on my gt with a 17 inch alloy setup
RE should offer 17 inch tubeless spoke rims in different colors as accessories.

I have a 2022 Interceptor 650. I love the bike but I agree with all of your points.
Reducing chrome elements is good thing according to me since it will reduce rusting
Seriously, no one is talking about that. I've seen people cry about the oxidation that happens to those chrome engine parts when it gets heated up. Moreover, alloy wheels are a boon for the Indian road conditions.
RE gave us one of the cult classic bike for our generation. Collectors will buy these in future or modify them to electric. As they are so time less they will still look cool

My friend purchased gt 650 in june 2022 year, so far his experience is good with bike in terms of ergonomics and operating cost.

I checked halogen gt 650 with supermeteor LED throw is less impressive than halogen in highbeam
@@itsmeee7364 That's usually the case with most LED headlights, hence my question. I don't know why every single so-called influencers promote "LED Headlight" when most of the time it's shit, especially during rain and fog.
Do u reckon they will update the conti gt650 with all LED lights, new suspension and new centre console? Im looking to buy a performance machine at arnd 4 lacs and only looking at duke390 and gt650… however without the lack of the aforementioned features , i dnt find the gt650 worth 4 odd lacs at present. 25 on a good day...but I ride pretty hard mostly between 5 to 6k rpm

No-one got above 30kmpl in the World! With any RE650
I get 16-20 kmpl but I tend to ride at higher revs and lower gears. Same on my 390 too. It is possible to get higher economy if you take it easy on the throttle and gear changes.
I average 21kmpl in the city and 30 on the highway lmao
They should offer Spoked tubeless tyres for continental that makes it best bike in cafe racer retro bikes

Continental GT is a retro cafe racer. Its got that old school charm .. no wonder they haven't really changed the aesthetics of the bike ! couldn't be any better .. proud owner of Continental GT since last 4 years. The speedometer is basic because it adds charm ! Digital cluster on an old school bike doesn't sound appealing
But my GT650 can clearly use a better quality fuel indicator and a gear position indicator

They got rid of baker express which was the best colorway of Inty so for now I won’t be buying one brand new.
Simply spray your fuel tank with baker express or any color and color change in RC document ez job❤

Barcelona blue is the current best colorway. Baker express is drawn out.

Bought it 2 days back, rode downhill, and on my way back bikes rear brakes failed. Total 150km driven. Called agency and they told me to wait 5minutues to cool down the brake pads. So much inconvenience in so little time.😢
I booked Continental GT alloy version April 19 but now RE says delivery date September 🤦♂️ I am really confused.
Mine shows as expected delivery in December 2023🤣🤣🤣
But the dealer has given me a wait time of 1 month.
I bought a display model which was available at showrooms. RE booking looked like a huge scam.

Why do you need a gear indicator on a motorcycle. If you own the bike, you will soon get a feel for the appropriate rpm at which you need to shift gears. It has a tachometer so that alone makes it so easy.
Not everyone is expert no, so these features are good for them
@@akashchoudhary5736 I am talking about a gear indicator, not variable slip traction control on a 150 HP motorcycle. Anyone who has been riding a motorcycle for a few months should be fine without a gear indicator.
I can live without a gpi, but the fuel meter on my gt is absolutely garbage
@@harshalshetty9865 It's working fine on my Interceptor so far. My only issue is that the segmentation is not linear. 7 bars don't indicate clearly how much fuel is actually left. Still tells me when I should refuel, though.

Man I just wonder why everyone promotes led lights for a modern classics bike..halogen looks the best and interceptor’s halogen bulbs are even more powerful than the the current led headlamps and halogen has better visibility during fog.. I just don’t understand the stupid concept of led headlamp on a classic motorcycle like interceptor.. a classic motorcycle needs to stay classic .. now since it’s “modern” classic maybe they could use led turn lamps and taillights which would give that modern feel and a halogen headlamp which doesn’t ruin the classic look…
Exactly, and as a person who rides during rainy season halogen provides more visibility and powerful illumination period.

I don't understand everyone's complain with a clock and a gear position indicator dude if you are used to riding motorcycles you never need a great position indicator and as for clock mostly have a wrist watch and in current times a smart watch at that one right about few cms away from the spedo on your wrist and mostly people mount big screen phones on the handle bars it's these are not needed features in the spedo

Why can’t people just leave the continental gt 650 alone. Its just perfect ! Its how the classic motorcycle should be. No electronics, no tech, just pure motorcycling. That is its beauty. Simplicity !
Enfeild interceptor 650cc bike is very stylish but the inflation is very high which is difficult for lower class people to buy. The price should be reduced a little. Thanks

Between the two, the comfier ergos on the Interceptor definitely make it a better tourer. But you will need the touring seat if you want to do properly long distances. If your touring involves mostly smooth highways, then the Super Meteor is the best tourer of the three 650s. But there, too, you'll want to get the touring seat.

The Interceptor is not an ideal bike for touring. The engine heats up like madness, literally you can set up a barbeque on the go 😂🤣 The pegs and handlebar position is also way too cramped for a 6'2 85kg guy like me. You lean forward, not in a sporty manner like a naked or a faired bike. Otherwise, rest all are good 👍
Actually, an engine stays coolest on the highway because there is plenty of air blowing over it. I haven't felt an excessive amount of heat from my Interceptor's engine but it is not even 6 months old. I often shift gears near the redline and the heat is quite moderate.

What do you expect from air cooled twins?? It's air cooled fins throws heat around. Even low cc air cooled bike does that.

I am really confused between 2023 ADV390 Duke(bike suits tall people like us)& INT650.
My use is >50% city+Highway touring
And 20-40% offroading like future entire Ldakh & Himalayan-North East trips
Why I thought ADV390 coz it's tank range is 400+ kms & TFT features are OP than RE.
I took test ride and feel good With RE 650 pickup-power is OP but tank range is 250 to 300kms max
KTM engine also feels good but upcoming RE450 Himalayan also in mind
