Best tip for acute nausea - 70% isopropyl alcohol swabs for inhalation. I use this for when I’m nauseous enough to want to vomit and some EDs use this for acute nausea and has been researched. Also, little bands with a pressure point works when you wear it before and during the event. (Obviously tip not designed to replace individual medical advice). Great video - exploring on a boat with food is the best!
Oh wow! I’ve tried the bands and they didn’t work ☹️ how do I use the swabs?
@@travelforphoebe Another remedy that has been highlighted is inhaling lemon oil - a few drops on a tissue.
@@travelforphoebe dip the swabs in the alcohol and when you’re feeling sick just take a whiff. Eucalyptus oil also works really well.

Love how you keep pushing through even when you get sick Phoebe! Do you use motion sickness patches at all to help with the nausea when you do specific activities?
Thank you so much!! Haha yesss if I didn’t do all the things that make me sick I wouldn’t get to do much! I didn’t know there were patches?! I can’t usually take the medicine cos it makes me so drowsy I can’t film 😂
@@travelforphoebe yes we have patches available in our drugstores like CVS & Walgreens in the US that don’t make you as drowsy. I don’t know if they are available in Australia. Take a look. 😉

Hiya! There’s so much nostalgia in this video. My desire to get back to Sydney is growing by the minute. I should’ve booked that cruise. The only trip in the boat in Sydney that I did was the fast ferry towards Manly. You can never go wrong with Mexican food 🥘, lucky bastards. Watching Sydney from the sky is amazing. I remember my flight from Hobart to Sydney and it was so scenic on approach! Does ginger beer help for nausea? Didn’t know beer was a solution. Luna Park is where I celebrated NYE to clock in 2020, next day we did the New Years Dive at Bondi Beach. So much great memories ❤! So thankful I was there! It all started when a friend and I saw the Sydney video of NYE 2016 online. We said to each other, 2020 we will be there, and yes we kept word! Thanks for sharing this trip with us and for creating flashbacks to my Aussie trip of almost 3 years ago. In 6 weeks I’ll leave for Mexico for 20 days and on Valentine’s Day I’ll leave for Australia once again for 4 weeks. Have an amazing week ahead 🤙

This made me laugh because I am also prone to extreme motion sickness and never stop. I was throwing up during a snorkel tour in Puerto Rico and it worked out awesome because all of the fish were going after it. 😂

Taking my new Filipina 🇵🇭 wife to Sydney in the next week or so since we went straight up the coast after her arrival a month ago. It’s definitely worth a visit and my Wife loves it here. Although we do live similar to provincial a area.

Yeah, I wish there were same chain in Japan!!
You need to see a doctor, you may be allergic to something etc. I used to go without food for long hours and gas would build up +acidity and when ever i would fill myself i wld throw up everywhere. In flights it's natural to throw up but rest of the times it's always helpful to only have warm water to let out burps before eating a full meal.
