I think a better ending would be Justin's character telling his story of a boy whose father was killed by three vampire sisters, grew up to become a vampire hunter who has been stalking these three vampire sisters all across the world and finally tracking them to a local bar where the vampire hunter pretended to be a hapless drunk womanizer so he could trick them into bringing him back to their lair. Then he kills them.
My problem with the ending is they killed a man for trying to get laid... like even if he was a womanizer soooo. Men and women often use watchtower selfishly because they are human. But I like your edit

I love that Nick the human IMDb knows the entire filmography of every major player in the movie, and my favorite part of these since I started watching you guys is Joseph’s “what the movie SHOULD have been.” It always sounds like a better movie hahaa
This movie was hands down the worst movie I've ever seen in theaters. The plot was super boring, literally nothing happened through the entire 90min runtime. The dialogue was boring as hell, the characters werent likeable, the ending was so predictable, and the ending could've literally happened 10 min in. There was no reason for it to drag on so damn long. 0/10, would never recommend. A waste of time.
:D Repetitive, dull and stagnant, and that 'staleness' (Nick mentions) - quite a description! So, "two decades too late for what it's doing" - oh man! You both have the best ideas on what would could have helped elevate the story too:)

I personally really enjoyed this movie! I saw it at the Fantasia Festival at its first projection. I really enjoyed the long dialogues, the teasing between the characters and the few locations. It really felt like a play! And when you look at this way, I appreciate it much more. I also really like the constant feeling of being uneasy in this house. This dialogue is so normal, so why am I feeling weird about it? I also really loved the ending, because when the twist is revealed, you can start to piece all of the small clues that were in previous dialogues. But anyway I did like this review, and I can perfectly understand why you wouldn't appreciate the movie since yes, it is kind of boring and tedious at times, and you can easily argue that nothing happens until the end.
Well, i had watched the movie. Honestly, i feel little bit disappointed with the storyline and the ending. It just go straight forward. The only thing i feel good about this movie is the script. The plot twist is not very interesting. After watching it to the end, i'm like, "Come on, that's it? Just like that?... boring." The male character just die like that just because he doesn't realize with who he is dealing with at all. The acting is good as usual to me. I think it would be interesting if the male character, Hap, revealed to be a vampire hunter who seek revenge on the three vampire sisters after telling them that there are some of the rest villagers they killed were his relative ancestor that he learn that his ancestor got by the vampires and he sucessfully tracked them down, waiting for the right time to strike and kill the three vampires and that's how the end i think of.
First of all, the thumbnail for this video is everything!! Between this and the 'Out of the Blue' review, gotta wonder if Neil LaBute is running a money laundering scheme with these projects 😄 I'm all for exploring gender dynamics involving vampires but this sounds like the same ol' tired checklist for vanilla feminism with a lot of talking and no fangs in a gothic setting. What I don’t get is if they were vampires there was no hints to them being vampires and then when they did eat him they tore off his flesh instead of biting him with teeth it gave zombie attack
Personally I think that trying to call this a re-imagining of Bram Stoker's Dracula story is a big stretch. Other than taking the names of two of the novel's heroines and giving them to two of the female vampires, there is no other connection. To borrow a couple words from George R. R. Martin, the "plot" of this film just seems to be "Valar Morghulis" (All men must die).
I didn’t dislike this one. I thought the banter in the beginning was interesting, and it was sort of tense. He didn’t seem all that bad to me so I didn’t think he deserved his end. I’m not a man, but she was a little too odd at points. He should have left but I guess he really wanted to have sex. LOL! So, I would give the movie a 6 out of 10. I was never bored. That said, it could have been a short film, or like others have said, he could have been a vampire hunter or something. The “twist” - if you can even call it that - was fairly obvious from the description. So another twist should have been planned, or they should have made him a real creeper, rapist so I could enjoy the kill. I felt bad for him.

What are they going to show some action a minute before it ends? Close! It was them tearing into him the last 8 mins. This movie is very cliche. It was obvious that they were vamps or just evil killers. Even Justin's long-winded delusional act was cliche as defense mechanism of his fear. How about him realizing he isn't safe some how, instead of him ignoring the fact something is off. And, it being like hunt in the manor. And, it's hard for them to find him, cause he keeps getting lucky coming across secret passages to hide. But, eventually they find him. 🤷🏽♀️
I thought this was a good movie! It was disturbing to me because the three females knew that he was going to be there dinner later that night. Kind of like when a lion catches its prey it plays with it for a minute sometimes before it starts to violently rip its prey to pieces. The three females in this film smiled at him the whole night and came onto him purposely deceiving him.
I give the movie a 2 out of five because of the ending with all three women eating him even though they didnt give the third sister that much screen time other then all three of them eating him

Did I get that right? Near the end he yells "I took...I mean, I wasn't going to send him any pictures" which I interpreted as confessing he does that?
