Thirty years of thinking Jared Leto has talent is down the drain. He is blank except for when he’s a werewolf/vampire creature. Matt Smith is there but totally wasted. They had a dancing scene. The ending was ridiculous. Wtf were they thinking releasing this TWICE but not putting Batwoman out there??
I enjoyed this movie they did something that other vampire movies don't tend to do they didn't use crucifix and the vampires were able to walk during the daylight which is something that a lot of vampire movies don't do . Storyline's okay I was able to understand it would have been better if they had put it on a streaming service 8 or 10 episodes it would have made more sense...

Additionally, IMHO Jared Leto is only still 'famous' because he's dumb hot. I love Requiem for a Dream and Dallas Buyers Club is also good but that's about it. His band is terrible, his personality is trash and he has some cult island full of hippies. Idk he's so weird and I never would have expected Jordan Catalano to turn out this way.
I appreciate this review, Nick & Joseph!! It had a mention of The Cheesecake Factory, the movie theater experience (30 mins. of trailers+post credit scenes = hostage situation), not liking Leto, Matt Smith, or Tyrese (Ving Rhames was the star of 'Baby Boy' to me. lmao), a kitty breaking free, plotholes, more kitty mischief, EVERYTHING!! lol
I didn't have high hopes for this after learning who wrote it. Morbius started as a villain in the Spider-Man comics but somewhere down the line they changed him to be more heroic. Not into watered down vampires which is what this sounds like so I'm glad you survived to share this review!!

I think Matt Smith is a very good actor. Loved him in The Crown and currently in HotD. I have seen him in a lot of interviews. Something is quite charming about him, and Joseph, I disagree, I think he's handsome. 🤷🏻♀️
As far as I remember (haven't read comics in years), Morbius is like a C-list character anyway. I don't even know why they made the film.
The only thing I can stand Leto in is Dallas Buyer's Club. I don't even like Requiem For A Dream much, I like Spun that was similar and made around the same time at least three times more.

Milo funded the boat and lab for Morbius to test it privately. So when milo saw that morbius was successful he was immediately jealous and wanted it for himself. It’s pointed out in the beginning that milo had very violent tendencies
Morbius became MacGyver.
If you don´t like Matt Smith and want to stay that way, then don´t watch the 11th Doctor of "Doctor Who". It is a serious chance that you will fall in love with him. Like a warm, special place in your heart. Maybe hard to imagine after this film....

LOL! When I saw this, I was shocked you two would review this. I love a good Vampire film but not one from Marvel - I like them a little dark - l give me an A24 Vamp film or a '70's camp. Wasn't Lucian a vampire in one of Anne Rice's books? This was a fun review to watch - but I will pass on this film. As I have said before - this review - I am sure is WAY more entertaining than this film.
