Thanks for this. I installed a similar Pioneer into my parent's 4runner about 8 years ago. Recently ran into this problem. The wire must've come loose over the years.
Thanks for this! I was literally going to go buy a new stereo cuz I didn't know how to fix the bluetooth. I ended up tying that green wire to one of the bolts that hold my unit in place and that worked! thanks again!!!!
What about when you can access the Bluetooth settings, but all the setting options are greyed out? Had my unit for 2 years and haven't had any issues. Suddenly I got a loud ass buzzing noise and "error" on my screen when I switch to Bluetooth. I can access the setting for Bluetooth but the options are greyed out.
Hello everyone! I have a pioneer Avh-270bt. I cant pair my bluetooth with my iphone. It says memory full. I dont have installed light green wire that helps me to clear the memory. Can you tell me in which pin should i install the parking brake wire? Thanks.
Engage the parking brake while the stereo is on and you will get access to your bluetooth functions. You can delete your memeory, add a phone, sync or disconnect from your contacts and so on.
MrGodrigo but that’s the thing is not everyone want to put it to there parking brake. I don’t want to have to wire it all the way down to my trucks parking break which is a pedal and not a handle
@@mayaturner11Oh man, this was so long ago now it's hard to remember exactly what I did. Seems to me that something isnt connected correctly. Probably the ignition wire? Possibly the remote wire (purple & yellow on my unit). Just ground it to basically anything to open the circuit. That should trick your stereo into thinking its connected to the ignition which also connects to the parking brake. I ground it to the dash mount. I would have to pull my dash apart again to be certain. Just consider these things when you go back in. It was the remote wire or ignition wire that wasnt connected properly TH-cam might not like me telling you this but if you do the "trick" method, you can also play DVDs without having the parking brake on (shhhhhh) ;)
What can I do my wires are ripped out of the back of my deck I only got the red yellow black and blue my Bluetooth is not highlighted I can't erase the existing memory is there anything else I could do I got a new phone so now I can't play any music
Hello everyone! I have a pioneer Avh-270bt. I cant pair my bluetooth with my iphone. It says memory full. And the bluetooth is grey. How do i clear the memory? How do i put it in parking brake mode? Which wire is the ground wire? Can anyone help me.
@@Sm1thWessonAndMe did you have to take out the stereo to get to the green wire or were you just able to take something off to get it? I’m wondering just bc my moms car was doing that and I’m at a football game rn and was wondering whether or not I’d have to wait to get home.
@prospectxv7703 I love this video!! The negative is coming out from your car bro, lmao It's a ground. The battery negative terminal is a ground. You connect the negative terminal to a ground. So yeah, no negative anywhere in your car. It's either +12.00~v or +0.00~v on most wires. [Unless it's a digital signal, like the blower switch after the relay] Anyways, My rant is over. For accessing this 'green' cable, you will need to remove the radio. The green cable in this video is 100% a spliced line into the existing cable. He extended the length of the cable so he can do exactly this. Personally, I'd loop the cable into a permanent ground. That way It's always "parked". This might work but it may also cause other issues like GPS or Radio memory problems. If that happens, then something like this guys set up is probably the way to go. [This all depends on a car to car and radio to radio basis]
IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO CONNECT YOUR PHONE TO APPRADIO sph-Da210 and the BREAK THING DOESNT WORK. Here’s your solution: 1. TURN OFF THE RADIO ( TURN OFF THE SOUND ICON) 2. GO TO YOUR SETTINGS 3. LOOK FOR CLEAR BLUETOOTH CLEAR 4. BAMMM!!! You’re welcome I struggled for 12 and Half Hours
If you are interested, I can offer you free CMOS 170 degree back up camera 720P HD that is compatible with your car radio. I'm just looking for someone who already has aftermarket radio who seems to do DIY mods on their car. All I ask is honest review either on Amazon or TH-cam.
Ok, here's a better solution Hook the green wire onto the black wire (ground) If that doesnt work then use a switch that only has 2 pins, one side goes to the green parking wire and the other side goes to the ground wire and you'll have to swtitch it on and off, on and off every time you turn on your vehicle If those 2 didnt work ... well then idk what else to do from there
all that wire grounding and stuff. But I pulled my radio out and found a usb port on the back, hooked my phone up and went into aux settings and switched from Bluetooth to usb 😁
I love when I find TH-cam videos that actually FIX the problem with no hassle. You're a life saver.

Explaining the issue. I have the same problem
You are awesome
How to take out the wire mines is having the same issue but the wire is behind the radio, so what tool I can use to remove it and access the wire?
Thank youuuuu
Note you still need to do a FACTORY RESET via device menu after connecting light green wire to device black ground wire.
Bro... been waiting to fix this for over 2 years
Also turn on demo mode !! Cause the parking brake thing didn’t work for me

Wont work if it was wired to the parking brake though, thats what a lot of peoples issues were
basically just ground it??
Im very lost. my 270bt does not come with that green wire. what should i do? i bought the stereo used but now im without bluetooth

no. just ground the green wire and it will open all menus all the time.
With my Bluetooth it would connect but the volume wouldn’t play only on Bluetooth

You just need to push the parking brake down
Only thing you need to do is to buy a Bypass
Resolveu... show
Nothing works. The guy who installed it wouldn't install the parking brake wire illegal...
What if I can’t do that shit
No bs to the point
So I just ground it??
Yes
There is no green wire
