I love my 1/5 scales the most, great vid🤘. My first two major things I do is pipe and kill switch, makes all the difference, then break and replace as you go.
I had a HPI Baja 5B back when they first came out. I put a stinger pipe on it, and the lag on take off dissappeared. The stinger pipe made that thing rooster tail dirt. I am sure the same would be said if a stinger pipe was placed on this buggy.
So, how it feel? Better than you expected? Because i also have only electric rc cars, but always want the petrol. Not now of course, because war in my country country still goes, but, some days🤷♂
It definitely feels different than electric, you dont have that instant power when you want it 😂 But what I really enjoyed was not having to charge batteries, just bring fuel and you can run for a while 😁
I'm about to get me a 1/5 scale. Might be a Christmas present to myself. I just can't decide whether 30 Degree North short course truck or a Rovan buggy. All their parts and hop up parts are compatible with the Losi 1/5 scales.
Hello really great video!! I've been following your videos for a long time and it's amazing what you do with the x-maxx!! Where did you get this protective net for the Losi?
Love your vids fivo nine, i love watching you test and push RC trucks to their limit, ive beeen watching you for a while, my dad introduced me to your channel about a year ago, no regrets, the first video i watched was the traxxas slash video, (im a personal fan of traxxas)
You may be right there concerning the low end needle, 'cause it's smoking a lot when coming out of the mid range. It sounds to me like it's running a little lean on the top end though.
Runtime with the gasoline is far longer than runtime with electric. About 3 hours running gas with a little 2s battery to turn the servos vs 10 to 15 per pair of batteries with a brushless system in it. Would require 24 four cell lipos to get 3 hours of runtime when ran conservatively.
Ever since your sbr 2.0 videos I’ve been hooked. Probably the best running videos.
Thanks man, appreciate it 😁
Agree very good running vids
@@JonnyJetson754 Thank you
This thing sounds like my Weed Eater.

Can you elaborate? (and can you recommend a pipe)

@@Sergey322 Large scale petrol RC's are the best because they are not flipping over as much as 1/10 scale causing them to shut off
Awesome, petrol cars are amazing🔥🔥🔥
Hell yeah dude I wanted one of these for so long but I know it's such a deep and expensive Rabbit Hole one to finally get one
It is man, thats why I went with a used one, could fine some good deals on Facebook Marketplace😂
Nice rip. I'm sure you are aware that it is the version 1.0 with the 2.0 body on it. Love the dbxl platform they are great fun.
Yup the motor is 23cc which isn't too bad I guess and yup the body is 2.0 which I think looks better
Absolutely the RC car i'd love to buy..
Super la vidéo

That is awesome, Your dad is cool 😁 Traxxas has some great cars, slash and Xmaxx are probably my favorite
@@FortekNine omg same!
Is the 8s faster?
Is it 4 wheel drive because when I use mine only the front wheels work
Any rc that is front wheel drive probably doesnt exist or is broken lol
@@turbodutch yeah I had to return it got a new one and works fine now

What tires and wheels please ? And air filter ? Thanks from France.
Everything is stock on it even the air filter, the tires are Dbxl stock tires and rims are from Rovan
@@FortekNine ohhh thanks a lot for that. And i forgot to ask you for the Black net in ?
Yesterday I was watching videos on your channel and I was wondering when you will upload a new video. I like your channel. I subscribed :)
Thank you so much 😁
What a monster! Love it
Looks familiar the terrain Mead WA?
Yup 😁
What wheels and tires are on it ?
Not a fan of the petrol cars/trucks but the videos you make they money 🔥🔥,
Thank you man 😁
Where do I buy one of these ?
Horizonhobby.com
I got one for sale just broke in ddm exhaust and mad max ddm belted tires servo still in box
Thats my next upgrade, exhaust! 😁
Makes huge difference
Sounds like it might be a bit rich on hard acceleration, and clutch slipping at some points.

Simple carb adjustment will solve that. It needs a pipe though. That stock muffler is killing it's power.
Ide convert that piece to an electronic version 😂 so much faster and more efficient 🎉
Electric is definitely faster and has a quicker response, I might consider it once the engine blows 😁
@@FortekNine haha send it 🤣 I'm excited for you

Those are stock tires and wheels?
The tires yes but im not sure what wheels those are but they don't look like stock ones
why a so dirty spot? btw nice video bro!
Since Its a Desert Buggy I wanted to run it in a sandy area 😁
The suspension on that thing is useless id rather have rovan clone than this
It's s Chinese quality stuff sold under losi name
And that engine sound like it can barely move the car
