"Just the basics, stripped down to your basic needs. Eat, sleep and keep moving" Sounds wonderful! The only aspect that I'd have any concerns about was the periods of sickness you faced. There's nothing worse than being unwell when you don't have a base. That must have been one of your biggest struggles. WELL DONE GUYS!
Wonderful but it does grind on you after a while and yes sickness was the hardest part of the journey for sure! The body can only take so much it took a long time to recover and get back to 100%, something which wasn't possible until we got back
