Mate, im 6 4 and 230lb. Havign the exact same issues with my xfusion 02 pro rlx. To get it to resist high speed impacts and drops properly i have to run 260psi. It barely sags and is incredibly stiff off the top, but then blows through its travel off small drops. Cant feel any difference bewteen the rebound at full open or closed either. I chucked a bunch of rubber bands in their as a stop gap and it already feels better so its definitely a volume issue. Gunna grab a spacer kit now from the lbs and get to it.
Yes, it added a noticeable difference to how progressive the rear suspension was. At the same 25% sag I'm bottoming out much less, and it's a smoother transition if it does
