Wow! How wonderful to have a home in this island! Great weather, people, food, way of lif 4:25 e, … and a handsome husband! Diane, you are indeed a lucky woman!!
You are so lucky . All the people there help each other and a happy family. And the food looks good and awesome. Great great grandfather was from that area. I never knew him he pasted away before I was born.
Congratulations on such a visually ❤stunningly beautiful show. I loved it. The scenes in your friends kitchen were so inspiring and the gorgeous outdoor scenes makes one go visit the island right away. I am glad I found it. Please don’t think ill of me, but I just have to ask, was it ok to pick up the rose pedals and smell them as you did? Did you say the ladies were making preserves out of them?
Where could I find out more about these wild herbs that you mention so I can order the seeds and grow them in my garden. I was able to find and order the wild fennel and Greek Mironi Chervil Seeds on line. You have several books out. Which one would be best for home gardeners?
Soufico: I just watched earlier a video from the US and they made the exact same thing but they said it reminded them of their childhood and what their mom cooked in Siberia!
Great video, glad to know ppl prefer plant based is interesting But you’re smelling the rose petals and later converted to jam, how about the hygiene thing
I LOVE EVERYTHING..... HOWEVER I WOULD GO CRAZY W/O SOMEKIND OF MEAT!!! BEEF CHICKEN FISH PORK WHATEVER VEGGIES ONLY WOULD EVENTUALLY MAKE ME MISERABLE. UNFORTUNATELY
Yes petimezi is a loanword from Turkish language. Although it is not used nowadays, the ancient Greek word for petimezi was siraios (σιραίος) or hepsema (έψημα), which translates to 'boiled'. In any matter and regardless the name, you can find it in most Mediterranean and Balkan countries and it's delicious! 🙂
John 3:16 Context 13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
family connections if are excellent, it increases life span of people, even a person solely on onion and chapati can live long and when u add healthy foods its a 7 star. its a thing missing in white society and even now impacting indian society as well.
The longevity is not from a plant based diet. Cultures & tribes all over the world with high animal consumption also have long lives & truly healthy physiques. The truth is, the plants growing on that island are of a very high mineral quality. The sea is saturated with decaying animal and plant matter. You can't take this same diet & apply it in other countries with poor soil conditions & then expect it to play out well for health, because it simply does not.
OMG this is awesome! Simply, fully and without stress. I can dream.
What a beautiful island full of beautiful people!
