My C8 went to production 2/17. I now have my VIN number but am patiently waiting for delivery. Also someone from Bowling Green called the week before production to verify my name spelling for the plaque. I am anxious to take delivery.

Sounds like you are close! I have multiple orders at event code 3800, which I would expect is your vehicles latest event code. These units are produced, and sitting outside of the plant, waiting on the 'OK to ship' Good luck my friend!

Why would I keep bugging my dealership and stay on top of them like you said in the video? It's not like they are just going to run away with my deposit. I'm just going to wait patiently for the car, it's not like they are going to build a bigger production factory just for me lol.

I agree to a certain point, no one wants to deliver these Corvette's more than the dealers, and by law no dealer will run away with your deposit, however I assume you want the Corvette you ordered rather than your deposit returned?
GM is no longer guaranteeing dealers the original allocation number that was given out over the summer. This 12 month production number was broken out into a 3 month & 9 month production number...GM is now only guaranteeing the original 3 month allocation number. So in your case it wouldn't hurt to follow up with your dealer, ask them what their 3 month allocation number was, and ask them what number you are on their Corvette list. If those two numbers are far apart, you may be looking at a 2021MY car.

Had a TPW for 03/23 before all dates went blank. I was expected to have mine by mid April but who knows now? The thing is, the dealership has no more info than GM gives them and the Corvette Consierge is useless in my opinion. I’ve seen a lot of haulers with cars onboard and I’ve learned those cars headed to Warren for QC and no retails have left Bowling Green, but they will start departing on the 27th or 28th so they are coming. This does nothing for me, as to whether the date I had is still relatively good or a toss. I’m hoping to have better info by this upcoming week or there going to be a problem. I traded a nice car last September for the C8 and ending up without either is not going to be a good thing when car season starts up later April, May for sure. This whole things seems to have been mismanaged by GM

Hello again - I agree with your last statement, GM has made it very hard with all the unexpected changes. This last move of removing the TPWs on event codes 3000 and 3100 is discouraging. GM claims this move is to 'better manage customer expectations' - in my opinion they are doing just the opposite, cant leave customers is the dark this long. It all comes back to the strike unfortunately. At least you know you are getting a 2020MY. I have no doubt I will have to break the news to some customers they are looking at a 2021MY, even after being on a waiting list since last summer. If you think I can help at all just let me know, Good luck!

Trusted Source OT almost seems as though GM has quietly put constraints back into play. Only certain colors have been produced to date, no Zeus Bronze, Elkhart Lake Blue or Blade Silver. Seems like things are being done in batches....
