    • @florianmeier3186
      @florianmeier3186 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Temperature is a matter of perspective. First you have to distinguish high Alpine areas with flat land (most Austrians live in rather flat areas). In the former low temperatures are rather common, while in the latter it is normal Central European climate with rather warm summers and meanwhile not so cold winters anymore. Below -15°C is scarce. This winter was rarely below -5°C in Vienna. So it is not that cold like Finnland or Northern US. I would say that real winter is almost absent now. High tax and cost of living: That is true, but valid for many European countries. On the other hand payment is not that bad and the public sector is mostly in rather good shape even compared to Germany. Food is a bit more expensive, but also of good quality. Compared to Switzerland Austria is still affordable. Regarding language: I guess you will struggle everywhere, if you do not speak the official language at all. On the one hand German is not very simple, on the other hand most especially young people know some English and there are quite some similarities between English and German. So there is no need to be perfect, but at least some effort is expected.

    Well said, the joy in it is that the mother country does not like it and forbids it, that it is only coming from individuals and corporate organizations, which will make it to be under control, because the Laws of the land, will supers all odds, that is on the side of racism, then on side of tax, since there are benefits seen on it, it will be managed by the people concerned, also on the cost of living it is crystal clear that, a saying goes that" to each according to his reach and to each according to his abilities" which is to say that one needs to cut his coat according to his cloth, that said, one needs to live within his limit, don't leave to impress or to favour at you expense .Good one ride on.

Please do not put music in the background of your videos because you have a strong accent when you speak English and between the music and your accent and you speaking softly it is difficult to understand what you are saying. So, please no music and put the microphone closer to your mouth or speak louder. That way, we will understand you. Thanks. Good luck.

      Yeh but racism is a huge problem for blacks (and in many cases POC too). Its worse in a nation with a language barrier because anywhere u wanna go to, stay, eat or do whatever, everyone you come across feels the exact way your attacker feels. You would struggle to get a house, to communicated, to move around (heard of cases where people leave their seats and stand in buses rather than seat next to a black person). It easy to say u can over look all this until it happens to u.

    Where do you live in Austria? Above 2000m on a mountain peak? Where does those -30 till -40 degrees come from?
    I´m Austrian and in my 50ties and I never have experienced -30 till -40 degrees in my whole lifetime ..I live in Vienna by the way and our Winter temperature here in Vienna is on avarage something between -5 to -10 degrees during the night and round about 0 till +5 during the day when it is cloudy and a bit more so up to +10 degree when it is sunny.
    In all seriousness for experiencing -30 degrees you have to be "bevouacing" (= sleeping in a tent) next to a summit cross on the highest mountain peaks the Alps have to offer during a heavy winterstorm.
    No offence, but I guess you are a bit exaggerating in behalf of the actual Wintertemperature in Austria.
    I totally understand that for people from Africa the weather here in the Wintertime is considered as very cold but it is not "that cold for having -30 till -40 degrees" as like as living in Scandinavian countries like Sweden, Norway or Finland...only there in the North you will have chances to experience an avarage temperture of -30 till -40 degrees in the Winter....just saying
    Disclaimer: all temperatures here in my comment are in Celsius but in Fahrenheit those Temperature statements of yours wouldn´t fit either because 0 degree Fahrenheit is already -17.78 degree Celsius and that is already an avarage Wintertemperature in an inhabited alpine mountain valley above 1000 meters where the tourists are making skiing vacations.

      If you go to ANY country and don't know the native language, it's gonna make things difficult. And being in Austria without knowing the native language will be no different. THAT is the issue she was highlighting. No need to get so defensive and irate about something that YOU'RE misunderstanding and taking personally... Yeesh.
