Great Mini content in this episode. Great to see the rot being removed to make way for the new metal. Minimine discounts will be very handy for this build too.
That's a bonus with the spot welder 😊. I'm sure it's not going to be easy for the wheel arch repair 😮, will you do it from the inside or outside of the car? Also it can't be easy with the subframe in.
Yeah hopefully that will make life easier. The wheel arch repair will be done from the inside as I don’t want to strip the car any more neither does the owner. So I have to work with what I have 👍
(Even though my first car was a 63 mini) I love the look of the sport pack minis with the big wheels the best. Also I love that blue Marc so I’m hoping you’ll keep that colour?
The bracket for the switch..is it essential? I know you probably want it but I’m in a similar situation and my car (MPI)has immo but no alarm..what exactly is its purpose?
So for people that lower the car, wouldn't the back have rubbing issues? Whats the typical Tyre to wheelwell gap that you can go for when lowering the vehicle (either on standard or on 13s)?
@martiniracing930 that all depends on what wheel arch you run. What suspension spec you have etc loads of things really. To go even lower you can “tub” the rear arch this gives you more clearance
The beginning of the end of the mpi in the workshop. Great to see looking forward to watching that back panel go on
It will be great to see this one in paint
Perhaps you should cover those seats with all those sparks flying everywhere 😮
The seats are fine for where I am cute let working. When I get on to the window sill area I will sort them. I do keep an eye on things like that

Glad your enjoying this one buddy 👍
So glad to see this getting closer to being finished. Looks like all the common rust issues too
Yeah it’s great definitely all common issues. Thanks for watching 👍
Good watch, just wish I can get on mine. Still busy building and painting ahahahaha
Hopefully soon..
Always good to see Minis in the Recovery Room. Best wishes.
Cheers 👍
Nice one . Always enjoy the Mini Content!
Plenty coming buddy 👍
Let the fun begin
Looks good! Very interesting content as I have a similar repair to do on my mk2 Cooper S.
Glad this is helping buddy. Plenty of mini content coming over the next few months 👍

Glad you like this one. Like mentioned this isn’t my car. The colour will be kept though so don’t worry we will follow this one along on its journey

I have wired in an eBay led light strip as a boot light. Very handy.
Nice idea 👍
Don’t think it’s essential to have it but I want to put it back in 👍
does the sportspack have bigger rear wheel openings?
No only the front is made a little bigger
