    Evinrude Johnson also had points on 1969 v4 CD with distributor caps under flywheel pulse pack and one coil .
    Mercury triggers in distributor had many many failures in 70s .
    Before they went to power pack CDI in 1980s.
    Nightmare expensive to fix timing belts.
    People tried to pry rotor off..
