was just at that same dealership over the weekend. Bought a 2024 Elantra Limited, leather, the works. Love it! I got the fluid metal.

I've had my santa fe since 2019. Absolutely 0 issues with nothing other than oil changes. Every manufacturer will have issues. Looking foward to upgrading to a pallisade or the new santa fe.

Hyundai needs to do something about that left most section of the odometer, which has nothing on it.

I love the look. By the way, i use that left section of the odometer for my suction cell phone holder, which is what it's for.

Seems like a fantastic bargain. Ben, I just don't understand why they can't put one of those special storage nets behind the drivers seats.😊

Looks much nicer and you get more bang for your buck. However the long term reliability may not be as good as the civic. Hyundais can be dicey at times

    • @joeblow4888

This model has the 2.0l multi port injection NOT direct injection, also no turbo. If I was to buy a hyundai, this would be the most reliable one.

As with most things, you hear the bad but never the good. Hyundai doesn't even come anywhere near as many issues as BMW, Mercedes, and Audi, which all cost a load more with much fewer offerings. All the VW network. In fact, are terrible. It is one of the most reliable cars worldwide if you look at stats from other countries.

Wish they never stopped making the Azera. I have a 2013 with 75k the car was definitely ahead of its time as it has more then most 2016-2018 cars. Considering buying one if these this year..

How you got two tone interior in white colour Elantra because it is not available on the website

Its the grey interior. The dash and carpet on all models is black so it may look two tone but its not.

both are good little fuel efficient compact cars though the Civic has been around for 17 more years than the Elantra has debuting for 1972 model year as compared to the 1989 Model year though the Honda is roughly 3 ft longer than the Hyundai the Elantra being about 12 Ft long while the Civic is around 15 Ft long while an original 1961 Oldsmobile cutlass was 15.67 Ft long though at its longest the Cutlass was 18 Ft long which made it a larger mid size car/smaller full size car hell a Chevrolet Impala convertible at the time was 223 in long or 18.6 ft

the way you title your videos, way better than a Civic, depends on who you ask lol.
if we're talking styling, that's subjective. i like the new Civic honestly,
wish the Si version had more power. the Elantra is a good car, but stay away from
the 1.6, i have seen reports on it. Honda has better resale value, though
compact sedans aren't as sought after like they once were.

That front end looks ridiculous. Why is it so squished in and wide at the same time? They definitely need to redesign this car again

    • @palebeachbum
      @palebeachbum ปีที่แล้ว +4

Because this is just a mid-cycle refresh, they had to work with the existing sheet metal. Only the plastic bits have changed shape. I think this looks better, but I agree it looks oddly low and squished. Indeed it needs a total exterior redesign. Get rid of those horrible creases in the side and the weird pinched rear end. I don't like any of it.
