Hey just to help you out, I had the same problem with it popping off. I realized that I used a little too much lube and was over tightening. But less lube and not too tight, it will stay on by itself pretty good.

Its not hard at all. I actually followed the instructions & it wasnt hard. I got the instructions form another youtuber name 2.5 stinga
